  • Beautiful.

  • not bad for a 5 1/2 year old lol..... i cant wait to see what she can do 20 or 30 years from now

  • @mastermusic99 I know right? With life experience and age it will be so amazing what she will be able to compose!

  • If people wanna what this song is called it's called "Sunday morning"

  • Anyone know what this is called? Also, to those people saying not particularly nice things, what were YOU doing at the age of five? And I know this song isn't extremely hard to play, (I could learn it by ear easily enough) its a BEAUTIFUL song and sounds absolutely amazing and grown up. THAT IS A FIVE YEAR OLD PLAYING! I BET YOU CAN"T COMPOSE A PIECE LIKE THAT! Thank you and have a nice day. :)

  • 00:47 is my favorite part

  • @maelove97 AAAH, she does? Tell her that I LOVE her music!!!!

  • I usually listen to deathcore and punk rock... but she really opened up the world of classical music to me. She is truly amazing. Love you Emily! <3

  • Hopefully she doesn't give up like most people these days...

  • D: This is so AMAZING! <3

  • @Girlpump35 They mean lessons. She's been actually PLAYING since age two, but she started lessons at ALMOST five.

  • Hey please watch a piece of music I composed on the piano, my YouTube name is davidhb131 please watch and comment

  • she is soooo good!!! i can play this song but im not as good as her!!

  • She is amazing ! She knows how to convey the emotion !

  • 21 people wish they were as talented as Emily!

  • she's about 9 I think///

  • It's amazing... SO this is another Prodigy like Mozart? She is already composing and has already composed.. Amazing..

  • Hi, can anyone tell me where can i get this music sheet she composed???? Thanks

  • @leexuanyitym you can go to her website emilybear (dot) com and buy it there. Or you can look for it online. It's easy, though; for the most part, just the chords of the key of D minor.

  • i can't wait to hear what she writes in adulthood.

  • the girl is so gifted ! and the editing is really good too :)

  • Sweet Genius.

  • omosh she is so cute :3 her little hair flip :P

  • She reminds of Yiruma, this was so cute and good for the age!

  • Amazing! what a talent!

  • FIVE MONTHS??

    DJFHWDEIFG ULDRSBGSGVeswrfbjnflele; ho

  • @bambi7019 i dont belive that though

  • wht song is it?

  • @mar97piano

it's called Sunday morning. It's quite simple when you know where she's coming from. You start with your right hand doing D,F,A, then you move down to C,E,G, then you fo to Bb, D,F, and then A,the middles black note, and, i think it might be C, I can't really rememebr, but I can play it

  • how old is she

  • @ShepDaWizardsColi thank u <3

  • I just learned to play this, there are a few tricky bits i can't play yet though

  • @bambi7019 True. There are many talented children out there, but something sets her apart from the rest. Compare the way she plays to the way other "prodigies" play. Although equal in technical proficiency, most of the other kids have a very mechanical, almost robotic, movement while playing. Emily looks as if she is one with the piano and the music. There are a few others like this, but they're rare.

This is not talent; this is a gift. I like that her parents seem to avoid the term "prodigy."

  • @ares213 In addition, it's the parents who upload their "prodigy" children playing piano for the sake of gaining popularity. On the other hand, the world found Emily Bear.

  • Very beautiful. And your smile is gorgeous! Keep it up!

  • Wow Emily....respect!!! I really like it when I see young people who are so into music, that they have the will (and skills!....;) to create new music... Nice piece! If you like you can take a look on my 'piano-composition' channel? I really appreciate comments!..;)

    grtz from the Netherlands, Baz

  • THATS MY FRIEND EMILY!!!!!

  • One word: WOW!!!

  • WONDERFUL MUSIC !!! CONGRATULATIONS !

  • She is the new Beethoven... Or Bach.. Or Mozart... Ohmigoodness!! I'm 12 and I've been playing as long as she's been alive, and I can't create a piece like that..

  • I never thought we'll have a Mozart or Beethoven in this generation. But God gave us Emily Bear.

  • This is a wonderful piece composed by a wonderful girl. It is not too hard to play, there are chords in the right hand and the left hand crossovers are the base note of the right hand chord, but she composed this at the age of five. F-I-V-E. I was playing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" by ear with one finger at the age of five.

  • 21 people are idiots!!!!!

  • OMG you are amazing!! I play piano and i have to listen to mozart and beethoven all the time and i think you are better than them. I am not even kidding your are a prodigy and the best i have ever heard. You should make a website of your songs so that people can hear them and try them. If you did i would try them all and have my Piano teacher help me. I bet she would love your music i will tell her to search you on here and then post what she says in a comment. I would love to be you!!!!

  • whats the name of the song its amazing.

  • @composerfat YOU SUCK she got amazing skills. if she suck why did she play in the white house.

  • WOW

  • I really like this one!! Amazingly done Emily

  • What she composed that !OMG WOW

  • sigh.. ive been taking piano since about 1st grade, and she's probably better than me. v_v i wish i could be that good.

  • Anyone know the actual name of this song?

  • @shaeso Nevermind :) Sunday Morning!

  • high quality camera!!! does anyone know how many mega pixels does it have ???

  • Aww! She has such a cute smile!

  • she's 9

  • WOW! how old is she now?

  • Jewnetics FTW again.

Yes, youve got some parroting Azn kids who can learn to mimic pianists while being chained to a keyboard....no they cannot compose anything close to as complex as the stuff Emily was putting out even as a 6-7 yr old.

  • @zaxx19 Jealous of the Asian kids huh? Tsk

  • i go to camp with her what now

  • Lovely smile!

  • so pro...

  • I was like "What song is this" till i knew she composed it herself! she's an amazing kid keep it up :D

  • She is a gifted girl from Heaven.. I watched this video and sat down at the piano and began playing the song. I just love that feeling when i play this on the piano.

  • She is a gifted girl, we all know.

But she seems to be still like a normal child, and that´s the thing I like most about her. <3 And her smile! <3

  • i love that child!she's so cute and talented!at that young age,she is so AMAZING!

  • awwww...the smile:)

  • Dude the info in the end of your video is wrong, when she was five she was not playng for 5 months, she composed hes first melody by the age of 3 , get your facts straight lol

  • @bambi7019 imagine how many she has composed now

  • im 11 and i can play this piece.... I showed it to my piano teacher and he wrote me the sheet.. this my favorite songg everrr.. i play almost every chancce i get.. :)

  • Dud your video is has incorrect information - she started playing when she was 2 years and one day and was given much help to bloom her gift from her grandmother who was a concert pianist and a mentor who is very close to her, as well as other generous teachers and pianists.

    Not 5 months.

  • to me its most amazing that she has the attention span to learn music theory

  • FYI, it's called Sunday Morning =)

  • WOW she is amazing!!

  • She plays a beautiful piano piece and then she kills me with that smile. lol

  • @bambi7019 She said she'd composed about 130 songs, not 350. Still, she is downright amazing. Unbelievably talented, charming & sweet-natured. Her parents have done a fantastic job of raising her.

Emily really could be the foremost talent of the 21st century.

I'd give my eye teeth to see her compose songs with & for David Archuleta. They have such RARE musicality, a kind that you just don't see...hers with melody/piano, his with song/vocals. The results would be just s p e c t a c u l a r.

  • the eyes pof a monster!!! ahhh!!!!!!

    shes so cute!!!

  • hey Emily , i love ur music!!!! we have been tlkin about u in our music classes at school, and we listend 2 u.u r soooo good u soooo have a gift !!!!! never give up emily !!!im not really a bigggg fan of piano but i would listen to u anyday !!!!!!im a big fan !!!! thanx ,Krissy !

  • She's talented. But Yanni is still #1 in my book.

  • please watch me playing my own song

  • @bambi7019 yeah but u dont understand very well .. she said that she learned more than 350 song and composed about 20 .. even to mozart would be hard to composed 350 songs .. she is amazing by the way xd

  • awesome

  • To set the record straight: Emily started experimenting at the piano when she was about 2 years old, composing when she was about 3 - but this video refers to when she started actual piano lessons with a teacher - Mr. Emilio del Rosario 2 months before she turned 5 years old.

  • @emilybearpiano stop fighting please

  • you rock!!!

  • Her talent was discovered when she was overheard playing a C-scale at 2 years and one month old. The claim at the end of this video that she has been playing for 5 months is false.

  • @momentinpassing

She started lessons at 5, but before that she did play by herself.

  • can she play cannon rock?

  • I know how to play this song. =P

  • HAPPY B-DAY EMILY BEAR!

  • wow thats like just wow amazing

  • Happy Birthday Emily

  • @TIKTAK190 oh yeah, didnt she just turn 9? :D

  • Very good! She does have a talent. Freakily.............that tune kinda reminded me of n east 17 song!

  • what is this song called

  • @yanitwilightsuperfan the song is called sunday morning

  • this song is so awsomee i wish it was like in a top view to watch with notes she was playing its soo awsommeee does anyone now how to play this song by ear??

  • wholueyou chill out man shes very talented and has a lot of potential to become even greater than she is now if she continues to stay on this path and be taught by mentors and other famous composers and teachers

she can become one the greatest composers in our modern time sure Mozart is on the greatest but it is unfair to say that Emily can never become as good as him like someone pointed out Mozart didn't reach his peach till 18 and his death so stop being a jealous prick man thats all u r!

  • I found her in my American girl magazine.

  • oh my God. I can't beleive my eyes and ears.

  • What is the name of the piece, I need to download it any Audio version?

  • I wish I had SOME kind of talent. My Father was a gifted carpenter. He could build a home basically by himself. He was also artistic, working with oils, watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, pencil, pen, a fine carver of would and even did some sculpting. He never tried to sell anything. (Although, he did sell the first Duck he ever tried to carve to his boss for $1,000.00 Cant's say no to the boss) He did them for pure enjoyment and as a hobby.

I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler, LOL

  • sounds a little like 'the hours' 2002 soundtrack but if it's hers, good.

  • Emily Bear is God's gift to humanity.

  • i wish i could do that

  • this is kid is A M A Z I N G. I'm 16 years old and now watching her videos i feel stupid.

  • my mouth is still open...

  • She sucks and she will never be as good as Mozart. Mozart was a multiinstrumentalist and was brilliant at composing in many different genres. Also Mozart could listen to something once and the write it down in music form. Mozart was a complete music prodigy. This girl is just a talented pianist and a talented composer, but she needs a lot more than this if she wants to compare to Mozart. Mozart was a one off talent. There will never be anyone like him certainly not this girl.

  • @WhoLueYou are you just copying and pasting the same thing on every Emily Bear video??? you made the same comment on the Ellen video. Weirdo.

  • @betterunknown It is more important to get the message across that she sucks and is way overhyped. That is why I post the same message on every Emily video.

  • @WhoLueYou It's enough to voice your opinion, but to say that someone "Sucks" is uncalled for. You may believe that Mozart is untouchable. But it does not give you the right to squander someone's talent and belittle their ambition. I don't believe that Ms. Bear is aspiring to become better than Mozart. She's merely playing the piano very well. She's writing beautiful compositions. It seems to be amazing to all of us, why can't it at least be adequate to you?

  • @WhoLueYou You're retarded. You're comparing Emily to an adult Mozart, not Mozart as a five year old child. If you were to compare Mozart as a child to himself as an adult, he wouldn't compare favorably, either. Duh!

Emily is amazing. The fact that the head of the piano department at Julliard would choose to mentor her says volumes.

  • @kedisbrow I think Emily is really good, but Mozart was much better even when he was the same age as her. Emily is fantastic!!

  • @WhoLueYou I agree with that and I can also tell you that for me, she's not a genious, just a very dedicated person.

  • @WhoLueYou you say she sucks and then call her a talented pianist and a talented composer? ... retard... envy is eating you up alive because you know you can never be what she is. she is five years old, has been playing for five months, and plays better than most 18 year olds who have been playing for years. NO ONE said she was comparing herself to Mozart, so you need to get your head out of your ass and realize that you are a dick and that she is amazing

  • Everyone should have one piano. Acoustic pianos are too expensive these days.

  • for the love of god, this is a big and prodigy compositor... very good, i'm impressed

  • lol ive alwayz been into piano i had wrote a few things but i nvr had a piano so i never new wat it would sound like on piano just had never got to put it down. so now im 15 and ive been takin piano lessons for 6th month but i dont think im wrighting music yet really this girl hurt me in the inside :(

  • OMG, perfect screen shots done by professionals. It's hard to believe this girl is actually gifted from birth. I'm multi-talented, well that's what my friends say. I'm the 2nd best in piano out of all my friend who play, the best player has played for 3yrs, she does spinning song and all that other songs. I have friends who played longer and already caught up to them without having a months worh of lessons, hehe!!!

  • "That was Terrible! I didn't like that at all! Frankly wretched!"......

.....Is what I might've said, if I had played this video with the sound off, while stepping on the cat's tail, and my head turned away from the monitor! Ya' know, it's one thing to read sheet music, and then be able to bang-out a recognizable tune-- It's outright AMAZING that this young lady plays so effortlessly AND with true musical feeling-- "Soul" which, like common sense, cannot be taught in a classroom!

  • @lieutenantcracker she is a child prodgy and amazing

  • Amazing.. noething other to say

  • shes definately been playing more than 5 months

  • @bbergermann

No, at this point Emily had only been playing for 5 months. You can verify through her website or by a little detective work with the video compilations on YouTube. Not only does she play these songs, she's written nearly 400 of them. Truly a prodigy.

  • @queenfoursuited

no ! your detective works sucks!!! b4 you open your mouth do some research of your own! from Emilys website " began piano studies at the age of five with Emilio del Rosario at The Music Institute of Chicago. " why do u think she worked with such a big timer?!?! Bc she was brilliant and has been composing and impressing since she was 3! she started younger than that.

  • @bbergermann

lol okay, bergermann. Here's a quote from Emily's own website:

"Pianist Emily Bear has only been playing piano for three years, but at just eight years old, her accomplishments are inspiring and her talent is breathtaking."

8 minus 3 equals 5. Riiiighhhht?? So, by the admission of her own website, she started playing at age 5, not age 3.

She played simple scales prior to age 5 but had NO formal training before then. Want me to do that research for u as well?

  • @queenfoursuited

search video titled "The Next Mozart? 6-Year Old Piano Prodigy Wows All"

    watch 1:20 on.......

concert pianist grandmother whose "made it a career to musically gifted children like emily" 2 years old one month!! so you think that she wasnt taught by her grandmother from 2-5 1/2 yo? seriously you are dumb to think that

SHES BEEN PLAYING SINCE SHE WAS TWO YEARS OLD

  • Comment removed

  • @queenfoursuited please stop bickering and just watch the little girl become the best.

  • @bbergermann You suck. Stop fighting and just admire the gift from God of Jesus Christ.

  • @arjames91 It's the gigft of the God who has no name. We call him "Random".

  • such a talented little girl. definatley the next motzart!

  • i hope this cutie lives past 35. because they say shes the next mozart from talent yes

  • faboulous

  • @Annrawwhhh

The 5 months refer to how long she had been taking piano lessons vs. just learning and experimenting on her own.

  • Is she of professional standard?
