LOL, great video and NO this is not flamenco, never will be as always my friends this is just a acoustic guitar playing. none own or even come close to a flamenco guitarist skills. but a great video and two talented guitarist.

In these parts of Latin America (I'm from Costa Rica, Central America) we call this kind of music Rumba Flamenco, a mix between the spanish flamenco styles with the latin rumba rythims.

There a famous duo called Strunz & Farah (Jorge Strunz is from Costa Rica) who also play rumba flamenco.

I think they are both great musicians, but Gabriela's strumming technique simply blows my mind. What an amazing player!

yeah :) in ethnimusicology lesson we call that just flamenco....it doesn't matter if its mixed with other style melodies...it reminds flamenco! and dude Gabriela's rhythmical techniques are insane! i upload this video because it helps a lot!

definately, not flamenco. This music is fast and aggressive. Their music have alot of riffs that sound to me like Thrash. However, I can see how people see similarities; the beats from the guitar, and the way they talk to each other while going into another riff.

You're right man, they started out in their native Mexico in a thrash metal band called "Tierra Ácida" (Acid Earth, could be Acid Soil).

no no! it's just normaly tune! ebgdae! ok look dude:) this progresion is simple.... 1rst chord = Em, 2nd = Am and the 3rd = Bmajor.... and the progresion is [1, 2, 3, 2]]
