  • Jason Becker knew that boring drums can ruin a great guitar track. Yes I'm talking to you, Mr. Satriani...

  • Jsson Becker was and does 'Epitomize' guitarist greatness, If I could play even half as good as he did I would have much more confidence in my chops, totally without superbly stupendous guitar greatness, can't say enough on "Dweller In The Cellar !"

  • Jason, thanks for you song!

  • 1:47 Reminds me of Godfather's theme.

  • I've always been so moved by the beautiful opening of this composition. The interweaving of tragedy to hope with the stellar instrumental execution along with the free & fluid drum meter by Atma Anur, - and then of course the song turns to the mysterious sinister route. Brilliant - of course the whole album is a supreme masterpiece. Marty Friedman's "Dragon's Kiss" is a masterpiece as well, and so is Cacophony's 2nd album "Go Off!"

  • Another good guitar player, virtuoso since age 10, is the inventor of modern flamenco, Nino Miguel

  • The intro to this makes me feel I have just landed and walked out the space ship of an undiscovered planet.

  • Really emotional, solo at 1:47 kinda scary, solo at 3:04 makes me sad and solo at 4:25 makes me feel really happyyyy thanks for that jason beckerr

  • I haven't heard this one in 6 years, what was I thinking

  • The first 2 chords are the same as "the love of god" of steve vai. This made be remember this :)

Still its a different and as great song too if not better !

  • solo at 3:04 is a killer

  • its soo sexy

  • I think Jason is generally overrated by many as a "virtuoso" shred type of guitarist especially with technical comparisons to Yngwie.

He was a very good guitarist and an excellent composer.

This song imo is his best. The guitar solo is great... sad and dramatic and kind of unexpected for this type of piece. One of my favorites.

  • @devtimers anyone who compares jason's skills to Yngwie's is underating jason as a virtuoso

  • @devtimers Well, theres not a single thing Yngwie can play that Jason couldn't so I think it is a fair comparison.

As for composition ability Jason simply wipes the floor with Yngwie. Much better all round musician/player

  • great song

  • great song

  • love this song,love neoclassic,love you jason,you are a god!!!

  • so amazingly dark.... Jeff Loomis probably loves this one

  • @shredftw jeff loomis should cover this

  • 2:26 Intro classic.

  • beginning leads sound like vitas rofl

  • MASTERPIECE

  • i fucking love this song! i used to listen to metallica and stuff, but then i found marty and jason . let's just say i ejaculated..

  • @Novaslaskballz i am going trough the same process now as you did

  • @123MetallicA1234 lol me too i still love metallica but it seems i dont have enough time to listen to all the solo guitarists from the 80's I dont want to miss anyone.

  • his solo at 4:20 makes one minute seem like forever

  • This is for everyone who says all neoclassical guitar players are just speed and no emotion. No way anyone can say this doesn't have emotion and feeling.

  • I dont know why i fucking love Jason Becker... He is a God, and i never think that other guitarrist cand do it better(:

  • BECKER=GOD!

  • The 2nd solo is one of the best things that has ever happened to mankind.

  • I just recently bought Perpetual Burn and its by far my favourite album at the moment. Every song on it is amazing. This album is definitely worth the money!

  • This song has a primal sound to it in my opinion. Not to mention it has fantastic solos, the whole Perpetual Burn album is excellent for that matter.

  • Jason Becker is from other planet, this is just too divine, love your music Jason.

  • He plays incredibly on this song. Fucking amazing feel and talent.

  • 1:08 fucking evil lol

  • 03:05 to 03:10 ... that´s a beautiful lick!

  • @claretimus That's Marty playing that part :-)

  • for such a amazing song why is there only 11 people like it jason becker is amazing

  • @hellsing19623: I know, and I've wondered that ever since I first heard him. He should be praised as much as Eddie, Yngwe, Steve, and Satch...

  • @fritterandwaste dude if jason could still play the way he used to....I say he could've controlled time and space

  • love this song, such great composing, Jason is a genius

  • Besy riff at 1:07

  • This is my favorite Song by jason. Sounds hella Diminished
