Cool tip with the toilet rolls. I do not have a box specefic for cords, but I do have a box for electronics in general, including cords, and I have had alot op problems by things in there getting cluttered, not to mention what the cords are for (I'm such a goldfish), so I really think the toilet-roll idéa will help me with that problem since you can actually write on them. Thank you for the great tip! :D
Are you not using "Neat Receipts" anymore? Found your review on that then checked this out but see you still have the overflowing envelope. So are you still positive on Neat Receipts or would it be a waste to get it?
@jsp48080 I do love it, I'm just lazy and do not do it often enough. I wait until the end of the year when I have to for taxes and then I run them all through at the same time. The neat receipts automatically finds the date and then imports them into my quick books. If you have a lot of receipts for a business and you hate data entry, it is worth the $100.
Love your videos but maybe black out stuff like account #'s, phone #'s, etc. (in your filing system) as you never know what types of nuts are on here looking for identifying information.
I just found your channel yesterday while searching for "how to get rid of dust". You are so likable and have lots of great ideas without having to waste money on expensive products. I'm going to try to watch all your videos--I'll hope to pick up some great ideas!!
i set an excel file with one password, and then I typed in all accounts log in names and password in it (I save the file in an external hard drive instead my PC in case hard drive crash). that way no papers!!!
p.s. I'm at the stage from slob to clean (past vid) where I have "piles of crap everywhere!" it's insane! I've taken all the books out of our shelves downstairs in our living room, so that I can convert the shelves to hold storage baskets of toys/games. I also bought DVD baskets that slide nicely under our coffee table, but then discovered that I have 6 DVD's leftover. Any media organizing tips? Eeep! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm wondering how long this process will take?!
thanks for sharing. It was cute when you took out the cord box and I giggled, hey I know the story behind it. I have watched all your videos. Love them all. you are the best. thanks
Have you done a finished garage video yet? i would love to see it! my garage is a total disaster!!!!! and i need to clean it but is sooooo god aweful i keep putting it off, plus i need your woderful expertise!!!
The idea using toilet paper rolls to organize cords is genius :) ! I do keep all the cords and wires together but so many times when you need a specific cord like a camera charge or something you dig through the cords not sure of which thing is for which. Great tip! Get well soon:)!
What is the website you mention?
