@XxFadedxEmeraldxX Coarse means each individual strand is thick. Brunnete hair contains more melanin making each individual hair more thic but in hair terminology known as coarse. Therefore, unless you have light brown or dishwater blonde colored hair your hair will be coarse.

It makes sense that blonds have more hair strands bc their individual strands are actually the smallest in diameter of all the hair types (with Asians having the largest in diameter). So yes you could be a brunette and have visibly thicker hair than your blond friend, but that's bc your individual strands are larger in diameter. Remember though, these things are all generalizations and there are always exceptions.

I did this and it worked great. Lemon juice won't dry or lighten your hair. It smoothes the cuticle to make your hair shiny. Lemon juice will only lighten your hair if you sit in the sun with it in your hair.

You guys don't get it. Yes, blondes don't APPEAR to have as thick hair as others, but that is because most blondes have FINE hair. That means that each individual strand of hair that blondes have are much much more thin than the individual thick strands of brunettes or other colors. Therefore, even when blondes have more strands of hair on their head, it can still appear a lot thinner than darker hair.

Also, I tried this because I live in a humid area and the ends of my hair are always so dry. I didn't have to put any product in my hair after doing this oil treatment (might be because there's still oil in it, but whatever!!)

So I followed the steps in the video and here's my 10 cents:

1. the lemon juice did not dry out my hair at !! it made my neck itch a bit where the plastic wrap was, but other than that it made my scalp feel really good.

2. i would recommend making this stuff, leaving it in a bowl beside the shower, and then when you're done showering stay in the shower and put the oil treatment in your hair. I got out and got dressed and it was a pain bending over the sink to do it.

It made my hair so soft!!

@scom86 Yeah, all you do is take enough olive oil to cover all of your hair, and wrap up your hair with a plastic shower cap (I don't have one of those, so I just used a plastic bag). You can leave it in for 30mins-1 hour. Once you're done waiting, comb your hair with a wide toothed come or your fingers. Then shampoo and condition as you normally would. Then ur done!

I'm naturally blonde. I'm always told by salons that my hair is very fine (thin) but that I have a ton of hair, but my hair doesn't look thick at all. So really, blondes get the crappy end of the stick: lots of hair but it's so fine that it looks thin! AHHH! I think the most beautiful, shiny hair is Asian hair. My hubby is the only blonde I know who has thick, shiny hair, naturally. Everyone else I've known has the same problem as me: lots of hair but it's too fine to make a difference.
