So glad to see Kothoga and Ymir making a list like this. I never really put Kothoga in that "giant" category though. Not sure why. Maybe because he doesn't rampage around a city. Fantastic monster design though and executed so well during a time between practical and CGI effects.

I see people are comparing Clover and Godzilla. Well, in my opinion, Godzilla has higher chance. Because Godzilla still has more fighting skills. Talking about size, in Cloverfield, the Clover is shown to be NO higher than a building, people may say it's only a baby but judging the baby's size, the parents would be 1.5 or 2 times bigger but not higher than a mountain for sure, when the Godzilla in "The battle for earth" is twice as tall as mountains. Besides Godzilla would get Mothra's help.
