  • the exact full name of the bass? (i see one of this in a shop and i want buy them, looks similar like a Trujillo's Bass) (sorry for my bad english)

  • guys hust wanna ask...which do you prefer, IBANEZ btb (5 string bass) or SCHECTER (5 string bass)

  • it sounds flat. not the sharp warm tone that i go for

  • so is it worth to buy it or should i rather save money and buy something more expensive.

  • i hate the BTB basses. even with new strings it sounds dead as fuck. junk

  • @Spanishbass I agree with you I play on a 6 stringed BTB Ibanez, and I never enjoy the tone. Then you get to hear other bassists on youtube and the tone sounds much more groovy and nice

  • BTB have 35" scale necks, ideal for low tunings like low B or A. a 35" 4string for slapping makes for a super awesome experience. Only gripe (and this is the 3rd time I'm posting this;) MAKE sure all the screws are tightened especially at the bridge and neck, (even if you have to set superglue in the holes first, if stripped). Maybe their fine in the States, but I found all of them in Africa, UK and Europe to have poorly tightened screws. (it makes a HUGE diffirence in sustain) ; D

  • nice io tbn tengo

  • piece of shit bass

  • is That the Btb 205 Tyf?

I lvoe it and i think i'm gonna buy one but the only thing i wanna know is?

Is it a active or passive bass?

Have is active or passive pickups?

i saw the Battery of the back of the Guitar so 1 thing is active and btw has it a Phat II EQ

  • if its like the 305 the battery pack is for the eq

  • are they even that good?

  • for the price, i found my btb amazing sustain and quality

still great condition after 5 years ; ) and i dont treat it the best.

  • nah man the btb line has 18v pre amp, the pick ups are all passive unfortunately, unless there the top end bartollis or emgs

sorry lol i was puzzled too

  • what btb is your bass???

    is it active???

  • Nearly the entire BTB line, except for the BTB 200 is active. BTW, I'm looking into my first five string in the 26 years I've been playing. It's the BTB 575 which is a neck-through model.
