this is rubbish. you can't get whole world to agree on purpose of life, what language to speak etc.

some want 5-10 babies + minimal tech,

others want maximum lifespan+0 babies,

others want 1baby+space travel,

I know, we may not any time soon, but if we work with the School systems to educate children and even teens we might make a difference in the future. We may not live in a good society now, but we can shape it for future generations.
