  • repulsion gel

  • lol @ slamming the broad side of the hammer to the hand, notice how the whole table is flexible absorbing the impact.

  • Dare you to swing the hammer with the point not the side, the try and use your hand.

  • Please let me (us) know when your company is ready to come up with a decent insole, similar to THIS ONE, you show here. The one you made with Bill Mays was VERY bad quality. There was only a 2 or 3 milimeters thick on the heel and the ball of the foot and the rest was just a cheap quality foam. I understand that T.V ad is expensive and Bill company also ate a big chunk of your profits but I still think you have a good product.

    Thanks a lot!

  • that dude is my uncle....... he lives in wiscision... that shoe on the table i have tried to wear it...its seriously my uncle... one of his daughters is sam she has blackish browinishe hair but has a natural streak of white in her hair

  • @exonboy16 where is 'wiscision'?

  • Some of you guys have to remember that the kevlar would be in front of the gel. Its intended that the kevlar stops the bullet from reaching the body, as obviously the gel can stop a bullet if its in front. However, the kinetic force from the bullet hitting the armor still travels to the soldiers body and causes internal trauma or bruising.

The gel would more than likely come after the kevlar, or the soldier would wear it similar to that of UnderArmour gear in tandem with the kevlar vest.

  • impact gel is the sweat of chuck norris.

  • Billy mays made this dude a bazillionaire. xD.

  • I have done a video in honour of billy may. Check it out! impact foam!

  • they should put impact jell on the inside of bullet proof vests and stuff like that to absorb most of the impact caus the force of the bullet hitting the vest can be enough to kill sometimes,

  • Billy Mays died some time ago...

  • wtf is this...wheres billy mays

  • Its Kurt Angle!!! LOL

  • they should sell this to skateboarders they could make alot of money

  • Love the golf ball example. That's the proof right there.

  • Billy Maze made it better and funner

    R.I.P Billy Maze

  • MAYS. It's Billy Mays! Just correcting you...

  • Not nearly as good as Billy ever was :(

  • I saw this and behind the scenes stuff about it (how nervous they were to hit themselves with a hammer or get their hand ran over by a car) on pitchmen on discovery channel. I would love to have a slab of that stuff to mess around with.

  • ARHHHHHHHH MY HAND

  • Are you quoting Revolver Ocelot?

  • It isn't an impersonation this guy invented this product it's a demonstration.

  • O____O HORRID ACTING!!!

  • Your no Billy Mays bitch...

  • We all know he is not Billy, but he is the inventor.

  • I still wouldn't advise doing extreme skateboard tricks with this stuff in your helmet and not think you won't get killed. It'll take the head trauma away, but your neck is still being compressed by your body weight should you land like that.

But it does have very practical airsoft applications :D

  • At least, I think that's right. Idk, I'm tired lols

  • if you see in the beginning when he smashed his hand with the hammer the gel is on the bottom and the top. what if he had his hand on the desk and a single layer on his hand and hit it with the hammer.???---> just a thought though i have no intention of being offensive.

  • I think the gel is actually dual layered like that when you put it in your shoe. I really dont know. You think so?

  • Sound quality is terrible.

  • what about soft air bb's flying around 300 fps? (90 m/s) will that hurt? i hope they soon get to denmark those impact gel ones (:

  • I can't see the M&Ms!! They're 2 small... now we just need some mega M&M's that are way bigger, and use them in this commercial... no! I know!! Get an egg out of ur fridge and test it with that!!! =D if it worked, it'd be awesome!

  • i would still just buy this from Billy Mays

  • yeah all the ideas the comments about where to use it are great...but i bet no one was noticing the tire itself when they put it to the test...in other words...THE CAN MAKE THIS STUFF INTO TIRES TREADS and hopefully wont need to be replaced or you wont be able to get a flat...imagine burning rubber with this stuff???

  • RIP billy

  • =( .

  • if you could put this in motorcycle helmets, or even under kevlar layers in bulletproof vests, you could save lives. it would help absorb the shock from the bullet on the kevlar and ceramic plates in a vest.

  • wow you must be an expert.

  • damn, this could be used to help make things more bulletproof...

  • Da bullet'll probably go through it tho.

  • A bullet would tear through the gel, this would be awesome for helmets though

  • haha true tht xD... might as well cover urself with tht shiot XD when u skatebaord AND DO SOME SCARY SHIOT! XD NOT GET HURT XD

  • yeah but put the gel behind the vest now look at what we got now

  • This guy has now sold his soul to Billy Mays.

  • HAHAHA, dude this comment made my day

  • imagine sports helmets with this stuff, sport padding even. this could revolutionize safety.

  • if you visit their site you will already notice they have it for horse saddles and hockey armor :p

  • Congratulations on your current success and more to come! I can just imagine the position (great feeling I'm sure) you're in after all those years thinking of the day this would finally succeed. I saw you on Pitchmen and I was happy to see when you finally agreed to the contract.

I too am an inventor and hopefully I'll be in the same "shoe" as you are in now. In fact, I was thinking about incorporating your product with mine in the future.

"the winners bank" (You Tube Search)

  • Saw Pitchmen and this looked fantastic. Thank God you got Billy Mays to do the TV ad, though.

  • Two words: Athletic cups

lol, that would be somethin', huh?

  • this guys is probably going to make millions i bet the government will buy it to use it. One problem is todays body armor is too bulky and no flexible if they can turn this into body armor some how i bet it would work great

  • Need to use this stuff in football equipment.

  • thats exaclty what i said, i play hockey and have gotten a few conciousions and bad injuries the would be perfect for helmuts and pads.

  • where can u get the one he hit his hand with.

  • Billy mays wasn't afraid he'd hurt his hands, he was afraid he would end up destroying the car.

  • LOL!

  • Oh yeah! Anything that takes impact could use that stuff, depending on how durable it is over time. Football pads, car bumpers, gym mats...the possibilities really are endless if that stuff works that well. It could even military application, I'd think.

I just watched the pitchmen episode, and it was awesome. I think that episode is an even better advert at points than the commercial.

  • saw pitchman and i think u should make gloves and helmets out of that stuff!!!

  • yes the should!

  • saw pitchman and wanted to check this out. looks like a great product. that was funny how billie mays didnt want his hand to get ran over

  • I saw PitchMen on Discovery yesterday. It was Awsome. This guy should seriously make some GLOVES. Or a Helmet. Id go for the GLOVES tho.

  • Make a helmet out of it...if it can save your hand, it can sure as hell keep you from hurting your head.

  • I wonder if its bullet proof :p

  • did you pay discovery channel for featuring your product on their show?

  • Yes, it's cool that it can absorb impacts like that, but we are talking about our FEET, all we want is something soft that warps to out feet, it's so pointless for this to be used for shoe insoles I think.

  • I'm thinking I want a pair now. With a bad back, wonder how these would feel?

  • HI BILLYS HERE!

  • did this guy create the D30 material or is impact gel a similar material that was made on accident?

  • Ya this is different and made on accident, due to a mathematical error, they (this guy and his partner) were trying to make products that could be sold to nascar and accidentally produced this gel. I think this is right.

  • hahahaha, omg, i want one!!!!!!!! lol.... what do people use this thing for other than doing stupid things that entertain the community?

  • skateboarding probly

  • Billy Mays doing commercials for them now. He put his hands under and impact gel and a car ran over it and he was fine. Pure BS.

  • no it's real but it wasn't billy mays he pussied out

  • You're right it was BS.

It was Anthony Sullivan who had his hand ran over :P

  • Yeah I just watched the show on Discovery Channel called Pitchmen, it was awsome!

  • He didn't actually put his hand under it, it was Anthony Sullivan that did that. Billy Mays was too afraid that he might get hurt.

  • you saw pitchmen yesterday, didnt you

  • i was shocked billy acted like that too lol,

  • Saw Billy Mays pitching this on Leno. Was pretty amazing, would like to see how they actually feel

  • that was the most amazing thing i've seen in a long time! the m&m test was crazy!
