lol this vid has way more views than the actual episode on tv when it aired did which was a unimpresive 974 people in total! lol its no wonder MGM filed for bankruptcy protection 3 weeks ago this thing brings in no profits or views or ratings

@lendial well you can find it on Syfy's report it has all shows ratings and view numbers, and yes they killed stargate with that pice of trash..BUT MGM anounced on it's podcast that they are hiring back some of the original writers and are going to put the franchise back on the rails, the writer they had given it to derailed the whole franchise and nearly caused MGM to go bankrupt.....how they ever thought this was going to be good is beyond mejust gota wait now till the old writers bring it bak

@robothedgehog It's almost the EXACT same writers and producers that wrote this that wrote SG1 and Atlantis.

And the ratings for the first season were marginaly better than the last two seasons of Atantis and the second season is mrginaly worse numbers. They're cancelling it due to the fact of how expensive it is and they expected it to do much bigger numbers by aiming it at a broader audience.

MGM's financial woes has little to do with Stargate. Their problems are all around.

@Clickyable yea the writer derailed it, they are calling it due to the fact it was badly wrriten and lost 90% of the fanbase and yes its a money pit and...MGM owns startgate they make it it has ALOT to do with their money probs

It can't have lost 90% of the fanbase or the show would've fallen 90% in the ratings. It hasn't as the ratings are round about the same as the last few seasons of the oher SG. That's the problem, the were hoping SGU would better the ratings not do round about the same.

MGM's money problems has nothing to SGU. It's financed by SyFy do you not understand that?

In it's last two seasons Atlantis was averaging about 1.2 million with some episodes being slightly more and some episodes being less. Doppelganger for example just scaped a million.

SGU season 1 averaged the same, slightly higher for the first half of season 1. The first half of season 2 which averaged 1.078 with one episode droping below a million.

That is NOT 90% The difference between them is hardly anything.

@robothedgehog I didn't make it up. I got my data from gateworld and backed up from tvbythenumbers.

I looked on MGM's website but couldn't find a section where they've posted ratings. Perhaps you can tell me which section of the site lists tv ratings or provide a direct link. Unless you're the one making things up.

And since I didnt have enough space Brad Wright hasn't quit. Then again I can't see any podcasts on MGM's site either. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.

@Clickyable lol u sgu zombies make me laugh, look up mgm's podcast for one, two go to syfy's yearly ratings. its not that hard =3 put ur mind to it and you'l find it im not gona hold ur hand the whole way, and ps nope i know what im talking about and sign up for the mgm quaretly letter too lol, cause u sgu zombie have no idea what ur talking about and brad wright did quit LoL he's finishing it up but he blew up in an argument with mgm heads, his contract isnt planed to be renued, look it up

@robothedgehog I'm not really an SGU zombie. I like the show and felt it got a bit of unfair criticism but not a huge fan. Just pointing out the franchise has been in sharp decline for years.

I've already proved you wrong about the show having different writers. I stated my sources for ratings but you refuse to show yours convenient. MGM site doesn't an option to sign for a quaterly letter and it'd be something they'd only send to employees, right?. Your posting contradictory info anyway.

@Clickyable i never said anything abou diffrent writers so for one your lying, i said he quit and wasnot renewing contract after sgu is done,your denying what is plainly seen and no the quartetly letter can be attained by siging up for MGM status through request, your statistics are for the one point before sgu fell off the map your deneying the points where it went so low it was lower than any sg show before, your the one posting contradictiory info, you simply dont want to find what is there

Has any 1 else noticed the fact that some of Stargate universe episodes are extremely similar to star gate Atlantis for example clover dale is similar to the episode when john Shepperd gets the eratus bug attached to him also the episode when john slowly turns in to an eratus bug is similar to choles state with her alien influence, small things such as choles ability to heal which is exacly like the Rathe and that the new aliens in awakening have guns that stun just like the Rathe and Gould
