With collectable trains, rarity and condition are everything. To determine worth, you can research the train by going to e bay and searcing completed listings. Also Google the train and you can research completed listings from online auctions. I have seen these go from 200-600 or more depending on condition, originality and boxes. Really nice sets bring quite a premium with these trains. Generally, e-bay will bring a proper price as these trains are very collectable. Thanks for the comments-TM
My grandfather has one just like this (however the light on the tail is missing). I wanted to sell it and didnt know how to determine its worth. Would you have any idea on its worth or how i can find that out?
Hey, TM. Was just watching your video again and noticed that your Comet tail car looks a lot like the head end car. Was this the way they were made, or is this a tmackinator innovation? Even if, it sure looks great!
That is one nice set! Coincidentally, I picked up one about a month ago, not in nearly so nice condition and missing the tail car. I had never seen one before, and now I've seen two. Thanks for posting.
@bluecomet390 This was a welcome addition. I really enjoy the streamliners and If I had to get rid of everything but one type, I'd keep the streamliners. Post a video of your set!-TM
I have a "Brand L" Flying Yankee -- still probably my favorite model of all my O-gauge stuff! You certainly have a honey of a model here! Thanks for posting! :-)

@bluecomet390 No, that is how the train is which is what makes it really neat. One of my favorites. Thanks, TM
