if he wants to play with a broken toe shows how stupid he truly is. gerrard cant pass a ball like scholes, you see that flick for that goal for rooney last season, pure genius. not to mention the countless volleys hes fired in from 20-25 yards out, hes been on top of his game for best part of a decade. played for the same club, never been intrested in movin, doesnt demand stupid amounts per week to play, turns up, does his job, and goes home, a true footballer

scholes has had a great career but his best days are behind him now hes got 2 or 3 years left in him at best.

well thats what happens when you get on in years, your talent does tend to dwindle a little, although everyone said last season was scholes best. gerrard can disappear for entire games, and liverpool suffer for it, he has had 2 games were he has had to be a one man team, most others i wouldnt rate him anythin better than average, at best

lol if u say that Gerrard can't pass (which he can, actually one of the best passers in the world), then I can say Scholes can't defend worth shit. Please don't compare both of them because Scholes and Gerrard are two different players, Scholes attacks 100% of the time, while Gerrard can play almost anywhere.
