  • i wonder how long the staffs are

  • .....can I have him for my teacher hehe ^ 0 ' lol

  • i was watching kung fu videos, how did i get here? xD

  • @vxDAZZAvx I was doing homework. I have no idea how I transitioned from vocabulary to this.

  • @DarthNexus93 LOOL

  • yea this is so cool stuff

  • Nom. Double nom.

  • It is very good basic staff lector^^

  • I can't help but point out that when he's teaching split timing, he starts doing forewards but says it's backwards and vice versa when doing backwards. Obviously what you call a movement makes no difference, so long as you can do it, but I need to point this out so that everyone is on the same page in terms of terminology. Forewards with staff is backwards with poi (why? I don't know), and as he said he started out with poi which is probly the reason for this confusion.

  • Where do you record this clip?

It's look like my country. (or neighbor)

  • Hey Banyan would u mind making a single staff spinning lesson i like the staffs but i dont think i can do double (not good with left hand)

  • his personallity is so friggin' sexy... and his body, and his spinning, and his face and voice... but mostly his personality xD

  • Staff or Poi?

  • @happynuts if choosing staff, do doubles or contact staff :) but doubles are rly cool

  • the trick to good spinning is USING YOUR FINGERS. Building dexterity and strengthening your forearms and so on. When youi manipulate any kind of skill toy you should strengthen EVERY part of your body,. not just the parts you think youre going to use. If you have weak fingers you have a weak spot , a hole if you will, in your techniques greatly limiting you full capabilities.

  • Hell yeah id let him hit it!

  • He is so friggin sexy, lol

  • @coilerhead2 I wasnt gonna say anything lol :P

  • god bless u guys...haha thank u really

i did'n find any tutorial about this

  • looks like Bali

  • how do you figure out what length of staff to use? I spin poi and ive been interested in staff (single or double, they're both awesome) is there any perticular way of measuring or is it just personal preference like with the weight of your poi. I know that single staff the shortest would be 1metre and the longest about 1.7 metres.

  • i go my how long my arms are and my staff, so if my arms were 2 feet i'd have 3,6 feet staff each that way when going inside the arm i dont have to strain to get it throgh hope this helps =)

  • asi si aprendo...que buen instructor!

  • hi banyan!

its nice of you to share of your staff moves...

i kinda like your staff, what it's made like?

    wood?

  • hi banyan

  • what is the ideal size of the sticks to double staff? my height is approximately 1.74 m

  • twice the length of your arm like if your arm is 2 ft. (sorry don't know the SI system) get a 3.8 ft. staff this is only my perspective but i haven't tried it yet so experiment =)

  • i love how banyan starts to talk in stalls once he does the stalls with the staves XD

this is.... what it.... looks like.... looks basic.... but i still..... love to do .... them a lot
