this has very quickly become one of my most favourite songs by the cure. what i'll never understand is why this and going nowhere were both excluded from the north american pressings when robert said himself that going nowhere is on the official track listing for the album. with the exception of never (sorry!!!) i'd probably have to say that the self-titled album contains some of their best material, though i think ross robinson pushed the band too far.
This is such an excellent song!! So wonderful to find this song!! I havent heard this in a while!! Thank you for this exceptional upload friend!! I am so enjoying this!! I dont get this world either Robert!! There is no one like The Cure, no one!! And I do so love it that way!! :D I do so love The Cure!! <3
This is one of the best songs of the past lineup. In Mexico this song was released into a bonus DVD along the early editons of the CD (which included the mastersong "I'm going nowhere"). For songs like this is when I miss Roger and Perry

@jonwaniak I think Christmas Without You was renamed and released on the last record. I also wish to listen a nice dark CD, hopefully with a studio version of "A boy I'll never know" for example. So far I understand The Cure have no contract anymore with Geffen so if that's true I think we'll have to wait at least till next year.
This is a very good song. I am actually listening to it for the first time and it is such an intensive song. I think this would have been a good track on 'Bloodflowers' album had it been made back then.
I believe this is their best song in this century. I still don't understand what was the reason of not putting this on the album. Brilliant lyrics, music and his singing.
i think that the tittle is wrong, this song is SOMEONE´S COMING (scratch thuth goodness and beauty vocal) Almost correct but if looking for with this titlle, you will never find it! thank you, the son g is great!
Wow, I haven't heard this song, does anyone know more about it? What year it was from? Wait... What the hell, I'm on the internet.... Google here I come!
I have the Japanese release and never realised it wasn't included everywhere. Love the song, can't imagine why it wouldn't be included on all the versions!
Thanks for posting it's a pleasure to hear a song that is rare, I love this have been a cure fan for at least 30 years I can't wait to see them this year in concert yeah I am going.

This song is amazing. I love the yell he does at about 40 seconds in. He hasn't done a yell that good since the Disintegration days.

@noisyrag2 I only hope that they make another album that can compete with Disintegration. It is by far my favorite Album of all time.
