  • 3 words: Hauntingly beautiful masterpiece.

  • We have just started playing this in my chamber orchestra at my high school, I'm excited. It's beautiful!

  • I brought a classical four CD. This is the only track that i liked. Looking at the ratings, this clearly shows that i’ve got a keen ear for music! lol

  • Whoa xzibit did a great job sampling this song!! thumbs up if your here because of papparazzi

  • @MrBadesha110 Yo dawg, i heard you like pavane, so i raped it and made a shit song from it, so you can thumbwhore while advertising it.

  • Beautiful thank you so much for posting x

  • FAUNET- the perfect blending!!!!! One of the most beautiful music pieces and lovely Monet, I adore them, both.... Outstanding. Melt me.

  • why awsome music is always melancolic ??

  • So wonderful

  • I guess that people who disliked this music find that Shakira, Ricky Martin, shit like that is real music.

  • @Carovius thankfully out of 3267, there are only 41 of them. The future looks bright.

  • @Carovius *chortle*

Yes, and that abysmal Vanilla Ice gentleman as well.

Where have you been for the last ten years?

I think you just may be the one person in the first world who pays less attention to American pop music than I do.

  • i liked it

  • mr nobody <3

  • stop worrying about how many people dislike this song grow up people

  • chales, ahora ya son 41 personas que no les gusta la musica.

:) esta cancion me relaja esta muy buena.

    nada mejor para escuchar.

  • I can see where Fable drew inspiration for it's music

  • even though its basically the same thing over and over.....it is still super inspiring

  • thumbs up if you came here becos of Xzibit

  • @armargedon10 what? lol so random

  • We need to stop criticizing the younger generation for not knowing "real music", for being deaf to true art. It is everybody else´s fault. What choice are they given? How many classical music radio stations do you know? How many times a year an orchestra goes to your town? How many classical/art TV channels do you know? Kids don´t listen to classical music because the only contact they´ve ever had with it was through old Disney movies, they prefer Lady Gaga because that is all they really know

  • THIS IS AMAZING and i have to play this for a festival in 1 month "woot" "woot"

  • I am 14 and I love Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and most of the major pop artists. However, I equally love classical music, such as this piece. I guess the stereotype of people my age disliking classical music is partially true, because most of them do. I think that if more people were given the chance to enjoy this type of music, they would, but its not 'cool', and not particularly easy to get into if you are used to pop and rock, etc. I play clarinet and piano, and am learning this song on the piano.

  • @kpjp302 learn this: nobody bloody cares if you also love contemporary music. theres no need to mention these trivialities. it's sickening.

  • @kpjp302 It's wonderful to hear a appreciation for all styles of music. Well done to you for being open minded and not caving into the peer pressure of being 'cool'. You will reap the benefits later on when you can perform any piece of music from any era. Who will be the 'cool' one then?

  • The flute part in this is so fun to play! So low and lyrical...

  • i feel mostly upset that the top comments are only relevant to the people who disliked it. here i am, for some reason tears springing to my eyes, wondering if this same experience is shared with the 3,000 others who liked it. wow.

  • Thumbs Up If you first heard this on a Ferry Crossing to France ...

  • @THEDUCK201 LOOOOL, Brittany ferries by any chance ?

  • ı want to cry..

  • what instrument is playing at 0:21 ?

  • @DisGraceFord the oboe

  • Comment removed

  • etkileyici

  • the first few notes on the flute are simply breath taking

  • kurlvaa... ces 38 là sont des abrutis, putain..!

  • 38 people are still waiting for Xzibit to show op in this masterpiece

  • LOL this song was remixed with vocals and made into a InuYasha AMV.

  • @HoraceGoodspeed travesty!

  • Thumbs up if you thought : I know this song... And said : Tony hawk ( game ) :D

    Nice song btw

  • I'm french . I'm Bad to english ! :p

  • Excelente Musica y las imágenes de la pintura de Monet la enriqueze.

    gracias.

  • perfect movie piece

  • this was originally wrote by xzibit but this pavane made a shitty remix...

  • @pukika88 that was good :)

  • @pukika88 no

  • playing this in area all state sooo pretty(:

  • I've heard Fauré described as a perfect gentleman, and this music attests to that. It is very polite to the listener, and takes them into relaxation without demanding anything.

  • i love this track

  • we need 35 more bullets.

  • I think what some people fail to see in this peace is the beauty of simplicity. It's a couple of bars repeated over and over.. The only vary seen is in instraments.. However I love this piece. It doesn't have to be fancy or complex to be good. This, is simplicity in it's finest form.

  • I feel as if the nature sways with this music, and the whole world is at peace. For as long as there is music like this, I feel peace and love can always be found.

  • the song just came before the love. so fascinating, like butterflies...

  • mr nobody got me here

  • It is so calmly and beautiful, love this

  • I can't stand impressionism, personally. It's degenerated art, before it took weeks, months, and in some cases years to create beautiful masterpieces that truly required talent, and impressionism led to "modern' art which is just slopped together by any random moron with a name, which can be recreated in five minutes. I do, however, love this song.

  • Peaceful, but strong, golden orange red coloured music.... I so love this one...Great for love making ; )

In fact, I know that I am still living in Paris, at the end of 19th Century... oh, yes... And I love impressionism : ) and Monet... I just have no words to explain... so I will just let myself FEEL.

  • This ain't got shit on the Xzibit version. Perhaps this Faure dude (whoever he is) should go back to school and learn something about music production, instead of just going round ripping off the West Coast's finest.

  • @GF0129 haha you're a funny guy!

  • @69crafty I'm being serious. Maybe it's unfair of me to single out this artist as there are plenty of other guilty parties, but I'm frustrated by how little effort is put into modern day hip-hop. I mean, this guy's not even bothered to hire a lowrider and some hookers to make a proper video, but instead has just stuck up some drawings from some German dude. I'm actually quite surprised that someone with the integrity of Xzibit, a true musical pioneer, would allow his work to be used like this.

  • @GF0129 hahah! I would've given you every thumbs up on the interwebs if it was possible! thanks for the laugh :)

  • @GF0129 hahahahahahahahahaha

  • Been looping this song all day

  • Weirdly slow tempo on this lovely piece....

  • i feel sorry for the 35 deaf people.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tpalacio79 They are not deaf. They just don't like real music.

  • @Rymeroz They just don't like the same music as you do. Just deal with that.

  • @Rymeroz They like real music, but they don't know what is real music.

  • @Rymeroz they are listening only Rihanna with Bieber and Lady GaGa.

  • @Rymeroz A fate worse than deafness.

  • @Rymeroz When listening to this type of music, we do not like - we appreciate!

  • @Rymeroz I hate being this smart ass, but every type of music is real music, if you like it or not is personal preference, so don't bash on other types of music because you don't like them. You're still entitled to opinion though.

  • @Rymeroz Perhaps not. Perhaps they dislike the interpretation or the recording balance. Maybe they really are deaf, so they hear something different from what you hear. For example, there are stories of old conductors who hear timbres differently because of hearing loss, and thus make unreasonable requests from their orchestras.

  • @Rymeroz Correction: they just don't like music - or life.

  • @Tpalacio79 HAHA!! True !! I am also feeling sorry and for the blind ones.. :)

  • @Tpalacio79 I feel sorry for the 40 deaf people....omg....

  • they're 41 now

  • The paintings are just as marvelous as the music.

  • Lovely !

  • im in orchestra and in my class im in a separate group of kids that are gonna play this at our next concert :D

  • Elegant!

  • fantastic music!

  • How people can dislike this music?

  • This is too beautiful. It amazes me how a human could even conceive such a thing. If someone had told me "I will find you something man-made that can rival a sunset or snow falling etc" I would not have believed them. Yet, here I am, believing it

  • @fantasticjack87 It seems to me we should be celebrating nature for producing such an animal, rather than the animal for using the talents with which it was endowed by nature. In any case, the human is only another facet of nature, and from that it follows its accomplishments are ultimately nature's.

  • @LoquaciousApe Well said. I agree with you entirely!

  • Yes, this is beautiful. Faure had so special melodies inside him. Together withh my favorite painter, makes it even more beautiful.

  • I was watching the movie Mr. Nobody when I heard this song and I knew I had heard it before and I had to look up which song it was

  • Lovely, but very sad.

  • extremely lovable, and beautifull!!!

  • I love this sample in Xzibit's paparazzi

  • No hay canción que haga crecer más el alma...

  • @15RosesGirl Tannhauser, Pines of Rome, Marche Slave, Overture 1812, Introitus Requiem, Symphony No. 7 Op. 92 LVB.

    Give them a try...

  • Xzibit Paparazzi

  • love the flute solo!! :)

  • This reminds me of horses. Of sleeping in a beautiful field over night and waking up in the mid summer, with the glorious haze of the pollen on the air. and the horses trotting about and around each other in a heard, the most natural state and my most perfect dream. I could watch horses in the wild for years and year and never miss once what I have here in my flat in London. Ah music thankyou for the visions and the dreams X

  • Only for the money and the fame. Extra large.

  • one of the most refulgent melodious fragment of stray souls

  • beautiful

  • @CunegoDonato hahaha i forgot about that song.

  • Just want to say, this song keeps me in a peaceful mood, it's really wonderful and beautiful!! This melody is what I really really love!! Feel comfortable, quiet and romantic.... I love the song of the beginning, I love the strings' pizz sounds most in this song, they are absolutely beautiful!! And then flute comes out, combine the other sound into a most perfect song!! Bravo!!

  • Johan falk =)

  • amazing piece

  • I'm going to play this at Lincoln Center tomorrow.

  • This music reminds me of a dream I had once. I was in a cave, and when I walked out I came out into a fresh spring morning on a meadow filled with sweet-smelling flower bushes. The grass and flowers were dewy and the sun was just rising. It was nature at its most perfect, and this song fits perfectly.

  • @spyergirl4 you could smell in your dream?? that sounds like a sweet dream

  • @theman1819 My dreams are very, very vivid. Some even have vast, diverse landscapes where the geography never changes throughout the whole dream. XD Dreams are awesome.

  • @spyergirl4 Marry me :)

  • @spyergirl4 Agree.

  • @spyergirl4

so u took some magic mushrooms ur saying?

  • @salakutaful So "magic mushrooms" lead to beautiful dreams and a good imagination, you're saying?

  • @spyergirl4

  • 33 people started crying at the beauty of this piece, so the tears broke their computers and then... poof, blame the music... that, or they're Beiber fans that don't appreciate the classics and evolution of Music...

WHY DID MOZART HAVE TO DIE????????

  • @RacinZilla007 because every good thing has to end :'(

  • beatiful

  • So beautifully haunting. I've listened to this piece so many times now and it never fails to stir my soul. Monet's works capture the mood so well
