One question: Does it have frictionless movement? I'm so tired of space games having ships that slow down if you let go of the accelerator as if they were underwater. Real space combat should be about short bursts of speed in a 360° environment, for example boosting, then turning the ship around as the momentum carries it in the same direction so you can shoot behind you. Very few games seem to do that properly, freelancer being one of them.

I'm dying for this game to come out. It's 2011 guys. At least release a nightly or something for people to sharpen their teeth on. Major developers can wait years to release something, not sure why indie devs feel they should do the same. If you release a nightly, and people like it~ and follow you a long with development, I guarantee you're more likely to get support, advertisement and donation from the public.

Huge reworking is under-way to get a simpler multiplayer beta to be sold online, to fund ourselves.. we do not want donations, we need to give at least something to players if they pay.

I see this trailer and it just makes my muscles twitch in anticipation from the days I first flew a rapier in Wing Commander when I was 10. Know that we're behind you 100%, but it's just a hungry crowd. You know, that kind of hunger where it's been so long since you've had anything you're not even hungry anymore? Never understood why there aren't that many space simulators on XBOX 360 and PS3 - The simulators died out on the PC coz you have to have joysticks to get a real sense of flying but the boxes both comes with gamepads that will work just fine... it seems like a big untapped market to me.

This is, as far as I know, similar to what the controls for small ships in Infinity: The Quest for Earth will be like. It's certainly similar to the ICP, from what I can tell.
