@drummerdude667 you can just add another screen by going on display properties on windows assuming you have an extra port to add another screen but you may need to use HDMI, DVI and VGA or a combination of all of these

I don't have the video card yet. Currently I have no video card. My screen is just plugged into the stock OEM port where I plug the screen into the mother board.

Soo I'm getting a video card so I can run two screens. I just don't know how to add an extra screen to make it run three screens.

With the video card I'm getting it only will let me run two screens. I want to know how to connect the third one.

i believe some video cards come with 2 outputs but can be quite expensive other than that, unless you have a HDMI output or anything you'll have to get two cards for expansion :/ i mean i could run 3 screens (including my laptop screen) as i have a VGA and HDMI out. i only have one screen on but use HDMI to DVI cable which might work for you assuming you have another connecter

btw assuming i got wrong end of stick and you just asking how to connect them, when you plug in other screen will just give you the option to add it or you can edit it on display options

The number of monitors cannot exceed the number of outputs on your graphics card. The VGA splitter will split the signal to two monitors, but both monitors will display the same thing.

I took every moniter in my home which was 20 and hooked them 2 1 pc because I could took alot of video cards 10 to be exact.. pci pci epress and built in video 2 ports) thats 5 cards to make 10 video cards with 2 moniters on each... now it was geto because you take lcd with crt as well but it was fun to do..

You said Stocks on Right screen. I run 4 apps that are from TD, Etrade, Forex, and Strategy Desk Charts. I am able to run these programs twice meaning 2 processes for each. Currently I have Win xp Pro, AThlon 2800+ (2.08Ghz), 250GB Hard Drive (40% used) and 2 GB RAM and dual monitors using nVidia 512MB card.

Do you think your cpu and ram will allow me to run 8 of those programs as i currently do with Firefox and Photoshop?

well i cant say 100% because your useing a athlon 2800+ which is a good processor but might be needed to upgraded... and the ram doesnt need to be upgraded depending on the speed, although theres no doubt that if you do upgrade your ram it will speed things up... but the fact thet your running xp means your computer has less processes then what i use as an os (vista) but i would recomend atleast a dualcore cpu and 2GB of 800 speed ram... if u have questions just msg me

its about screen real estate. not size . you want more total resolution. 60 inch does not solve that. also multiple monitors that are smaller rather than one highresolution one is easier to sort tasks which is very important.
