@LivingSuSpence Yes it was. The sound you hear was just the intake but v-tec was "engaged". All base model rsx's crack v-tec at 2,000 rpms. Although, the v-tec in base models is not very powerful because its designed for better fuel economy. A type-s on the other hand, cracks v-tec at 6,000 rpms on the stock ECU and produces much more power during the v-tec stage.

@mdmau5 I know what you're talking about. You mean how his high beams look yellow in the housing right? Just buy some Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs, they reflect inside the housing and produce that yellow tint. Cheap mod and looks great.

@BillabongSk8ter idk for sure, but I wouldn't think so. But you could always look into getting the skunk2 adjustable springs. I had them on my 06 type-s on they were pretty good especially for the price. they are like $300 from a skunk2 dealer and go for about $250 on ebay. with these you can adjust your height if u scrape

i gotta a rsx-s with just a aem short ram intake and there is a very big different right out the gate when it comes to the sound. the vtec is very loud when it kicks in.

if you got the money get some coilovers. But by lowering it down all the way you defeat the purpose of handling. If you dont care about ride quality, grab some ground controls. worked for my friend and its cheap.

nah, they arent damper adjustable, but it rides very well. they arent super stiff, but im down with the drop it gives lol.

yup they are height adjustable. i had the fronts covering close to a half of the tire, but it wasnt driveable, and the rears can go just a little past the tire. i wish they would go lower tho ha.
