OK, New Age is something very new for me. My old church tell me I got ideas from New Age, so I want to know what they are talking about. I think she sounds not bad. Ofcourse that woman is not right in everything, but as she says - she used to go to traditional church and something didn't feel right to her. I have similar story. I started asking for what is really truth. What if all we belive is not true? If true - it wil lprove it is true, if not - it won't stay. I am sure Ophrah has her point
New age movement i.e explained by joel tosteen,the secret,the shack is basically self belief, and you have the control to do what you want and also the law of attraction. It doesn't involve God taking control of your life,obviously oprah and people with bad experiences going to traditional church unfortunately follow only man's opinion of Christ's teachings. Therefore, if they don't like what is being preached,they instead don't imerse themselves in the new testament

They like to pick and choose from the bible what is good,bad and the ugly. From that p.o.v they have the power, energy and create their own destiny if you have powerful self belief. Obviously, God can be moulded and rather they not have God of the bible,especially that God out of all the religions in charge of their life. With oprah's life experiences when she was a child, its obvious that Christ is not only way. She has to be in charge, have the belief she can be what she wants.
If you don't know the truth, it's obviously not working in your life, you want solutions to problems ASAP. The Bible doesn't offer right here right now, no more miracles, only misery, problems everywhere. Christ's message wasn't about saving israel from injustice. Every1 doesn't need to depend on God, can't digest the sermon on the mount. If you're persecuted for whatever reason, racicism,poverty,domestic violence etc. You have the power to change and want a better life right now.
You are blowing this completely out of proportion. Everytime a human being has a slightly different outlook on the afterlife or how we get there is automatically called a satanist! You Christian extremists have got to get a grip. Even if Oprah Winfrey does look at Religion in her own spiritual way, I am sure, knowing all the good she has done over the past 25 years to mankind, she does not worship a devil or anything evil. For petes sake! She is not a freemason you paranoid Jesus freak.

She's done good but she does it for publicity. If she wants to help people in a million different ways, then she can go to her neighbors and eventually help her society. Her medium is through media, and she is a journalist after all. She has her own interest of helping people b.c she wants everyone to follow her and she is a God, have you seen God work in such a way as oprah. Has he actually delivered people from their problems.
Obviously, millions who cried on oprah's shoulder and that too sharing their "personal" problems on national t.v and getting free material gifts and advice from a rich woman will definetly fall for her. I would just come on her show to get a free car and all those nice things. Forget about santa claus, he is crap compared to oprah and got to tell the kids there's no such thing as santa,but there is oprah. Her advice is have a powerful self belief that she can help u help yourself
