@NateO3o in the US, yes, there are plenty of surgeons who perform top surgery on people who aren´t on T. i got it over 2 years before starting T. some people get top surgery and never take T.

@93gravy in person, the scars are actually a little more obvious than they appear in pictures, but they started getting a lot less noticeable around 1-1,5 years post-op. for the first 3-6 months, they were actually extremely red - some of the reddest i've seen! brownstein did the surgery, and yeah, he's really phenomenal.

@tfpunk1979 thanks... i had it with dr. brownstein like 3 years ago. a lot of people assume i had it within the past year or so (since that's when i started T) and wonder how it can possibly look so good, but no, i'm actually not a superhuman healer or anything, it just looks good because so much time has passed (and because dr. brownstein is awesome) :P
@sparkiersuperjet i take 100 mg every week via IM injection. it's definitely not toxic in that dose and with that method of delivery (taking pills is most problematic for the liver, but i don't really know of anyone who takes T orally), but yeah, it can still have side effects. and no, there's no PCT because i'm not shooting it in cycles or taking unreasonably high doses like body builders do... just a small, steady dose every week so my levels stay in the normal range
How did you go about getting the T injections? Did you go to your local doctor and ask them? I have the same problem. Please reply it would help. :) thanks
@conjure26 mine are prescribed by my physician, but i'm also monitored by an endocrinologist at the same medical group. depending on a bunch of factors (why you need T, how old you are, etc.), there's a different process behind getting it. if you message me with more info, i can give you better advice.

@conjure26 i'd ask your doctor to check your total T and free T levels. if they're low, he will probably refer you to an endocrinologist or prescribe for you himself. if they're normal, there's unfortunately probably not too much you can do. good luck man.

thanks :D is it impossible to get top surgery first in sweden? here it's a possibility but i think it's pretty unusual, especially with how the "standards of care" work. i still had to go through a long process to get surgery (one that would have "qualified" me to start T too) but i'm definitely lucky i was able to get it wheni did ... couldn't imagine having made it through all these years without it. the wait sucks, but your day will come too :)
