I waited for 3 hours outside Phil's bus in 1994, Rex, Dime, and Vinnie all hung out and were so cool. Phil got on the bus and said he'd be back in 10 minutes. 2 hours later he comes off the bus high on smack and acts like we were a pain in the ass. All this stuff about "all I care about is the fans" is bullshit. RIP DIMEBAG

ya that was 1994 when he was heavily addicted to heroin... the mans been through alot he s only human ... people make mistakes and you can really tell how much he s matured even from 04 to now... he was a mess when dime died... he s really gotten his shit together and he seems much happier.

no dude. this is why pantera broke up. cuz people like you took things out of context and think that they know everything about it when they dont. phil said something in an off the cuff remark that he didnt expect to get printed. instead it did and it blew up and one sentence became the axis for the fued. that is not why pantera broke up tho. they never broke up. they were simply not playing together at that point.. they all had side projects and were working on them individually

I had to squeeze past 5 security dudes when phil & rex came out the bus. He had no intention of talking to anyone. I shook his hand and said something lame. I'll never forget his ear to ear smile and eyes completely sealed shut. This was before the DIME thing. Probably can't get away with that shit anymore.

lol fucking dick when i saw down this fall kirk and pepper were cool as fuck and hang out with the fans but we waited for this dick two hours he came out glanced at us got on the bus and didnt say anything, wave or even aknoweledged us. lol i did get to hear similar stories with phil from fans GODDAMN lol! Great artist nonetheless but what a fucking dick! He probably would've talked to us or something if a camera was there.

His girlfriend seems to be a really cool person, very supportive. I personally think she's very good for him.
I wish people weren't so superficial. To him, she's probably the most beautiful and important woman ever, and I think it's comforting to think that even somebody as troubled as this man has eventually found a woman like her to rely on and build a future with.

Phil Anselmo's face does not age, look at interviews done with him from 1991, theres no difference to how his face looks then to how he looks now.
People say drugs really messes up your looks and makes you look old real fast, well in Phil's case the opposite happened!
