@DactylZord really you found the Dillinger character interesting? I suppose it's interesting in regards a portrait of man who was already behind the times, and not imaginative to move with them. For me the film showed Dillinger to to an unremarkable man, conversely serving to de-construct the myth of the man and his motives, whilst embellishing his noteriety in a fight through the action set pieces
I think Johnny Depp is the best actor. Most actors can act different personas but there are always simularities between the characters other actors play but with Johnny Depp every character he plays seems completely different he can play thousands of different characters and make you see them as completely different people every time.

I never watch movies like this but I saw this last week and I think it is a wonderful movie. Johnny Depp is so good in this movie. Everything about it is very good especially the costumes are fantastic. Those fedoras ! ! ! Probably another actor besides Christian Bale would have been better. I don't know who. It's a difficult role because it's so bland but Christian Bale is lifeless here and not interesting. No human being is that dull.
Warren Oates was not really like the real John Dillinger. He looked like him, but he didn't act like him. Johnny Depp doesn't resemble Dillinger as much but he acts more like the real Dillinger. Read the book by Bryan Burrough that Public Enemies is based on. Johnny Depp is the better Dillinger.

I never watch movies like this but I saw this last week and I think it is a wonderful movie. Johnny Depp is so good in this movie. Warren Oates was not really like the real John Dillinger. He looked like him, but he didn't act like him. Johnny Depp doesn't resemble Dillinger as much but he acts more like the real Dillinger. Read the book by Bryan Burrough that Public Enemies is based on. Johnny Depp is the better Dillinger.
