Lol a couple of years ago I was training in the cerulean cave and a gold parasect appeared. I didn't know why it was gold but I caught it anyways.

There isn't a way of SRing for Paras, and I was planning to save the Mt Moon Paras chamber for another hunt.

nice shiny. :) but i've only caught three shinies, all of them in the original silver. the red gyarados (which everyone can get) a shiny goldeen with a good rod next to bill's house, and a shiny zubat in dark cave. a

I actually wanted Parasect from the Cerulean Cave, seeing as how it is the only one that can't be chained in there, but a Primeape was good as well!

I was actually worried when it showed up, as Primeape could easily kill my Magneton. However, it never used Cross Chop in the entire fight! Guess it's my luck...

Wow, I'm glad you remember what my hunt is. Yep, Hoppip. My LG's luck has beeen horrible lately. First shiny Abra in about 3300 Abras, then completely random shiny Zubat BUT then shiny Slugma took over 10000 encounters. Since Slugma, I've done 2000 Hoppip encounters, bought 5900 Clefairy, done 1010 secret target SRs, and done about 4000 Route 11 encounters ;____;
