  • There is some parts that the keyboard plays along with the bass, like in te start 0:07

  • less track more keyboard, nice playing but can't hear it properly

  • HOLY FUCK!!!!! You just made god jealous...specially when the tapping part comes up well its tapping for guitar the 2:09 Part!!!

  • 0:54 → opening a champagne

  • DUDE! your fingers are so fast! i bet your good with the ladies ; )

  • dude that was fantastic... how long have you been playing keyboard?

  • how long have you been playing?

  • Can't help but give this 5 stars. Great job! Long live metal!

  • Well played!!!

  • you aer awesome,so pro!!

  • congratulations, fast fingers.

  • @HariSeldon0 that's the real song bpm...

  • hey man love your playing!! what kind of pedal do you have? ive been looking for one that allows me to switch sounds quickly. message me back and let me know please!

  • are there like notes or tabs that i can find for my friend? i want him to learn how to play this but if he does it by ear, it'll be good, but not perfect.

  • Hmm sorry but i want to ask one more thing does the m-audio prokeys 88 supports that changing mode, and if not which pedal i can use to change the effects

  • another question please, anybody knows if kurzweil 2600x supports to change the programs with a footswitch??? thank you very much.

  • well Jordan used a 2600 before, and he does it perfectly :)!

  • very good, perfect!

  • yes its a normal pedal!

you can use it to change effects if your keyboard supports to configurate the action of the pedal.... for example the roland fantom x 8

there you can say to the keyboard that you change the settings with the pedal.... you could also change the rythm or something else...

  • there are many possibilties...for example Roland Dp2

but its important that your keyboard supports to set the switch to change the performance modes

sorry for my terrible english, I'm 17 and from Germany ;-)

  • :D the roland dp2 is a damper pedal i need one to change the effects on the keyboard if you can tell me one plz

  • it doesn't matter.... just a normal footswitch....

  • tell me a brand and a model for an example i dont know about footswitches so i want tot learn plz

  • footswitch ;-)

  • wich footswitch

  • Hey i only have one question, how do you change effects on a keyboard that quickly?

  • amazing

  • Wanna form a band with me?

  • sexy man..now that's keyboarding..

  • you must have take out this by earcaus ther is no fucking way that someone has done this good sheets. you should search to berkley or how you spell it, i think you should fit good there..

  • gooood rock man!

  • plz Christopherkey.. tell me there is a song book for Liquid Tension Experiment 2 ... if they don't .. how did you learn the song!!!

If you got it by ear... i hate you :P

  • no book :( sry !

  • @beurreaime Liquid tension has all of their songs on MIDI files available on their website.

  • @beurreaime

    get guitar pro 5

download acid rain guitar pro file (like a midi file, just google)

    activate piano table

    voila, there you go

  • Good job!

  • awesome

  • this is quite good. the only criticism i have is that when you get to the part at 2:20, Jordan adds some chords underneath the lead run. other than that it was near perfect

  • someone do a tutorial of this!!!!! plzzzz!!!

  • Very nice...now hopefully my girlfriend can learn it from this and teach it to me...he he he...here's hopin! good show meng...my fav piano part in LTE /m\

  • Dear scissorhands26, any instrument may have tabulations, better known as tabs. So, I suggest you take your attitude and shove it.

  • pr0

  • your stand rocks as much as you do!

  • excerllent

  • hot damn!

  • Does anyone have sheet music for this? It would be greatly appreciated.

(I'm making a Mario Paint Composer version of the entire song, or at least as much of it as I can before I die from lack of a life, which I'll hopefully post...eventually.)

  • dud! u rock! i can believe u can play like that! hey i want to play the part of second 40 can u show it on another video

  • I didn't like the sound you used for the last section you played. A bit busy for me. But the playing and execution of this piece of music is exceptional. Well done :)

  • I'm speechless!

  • Man... no way man... no freaking way. There's no way.

  • christ

  • Great Job Chris 5 Stars

  • the quality is very bad , but are great ;)

make a new video with a pretty good sound ;)

  • yea the piano tab

  • umm, you mean the sheet music? I don't believe piano has ... tab....

  • Exactly how would you write these tabs, and why would you? It doesn't seem like it would be very efficient.

When I was a kid I had some books with tabs for piano. I just didn't figure any adult actually used them :S

  • yeah piano has tab but it sucks

  • Five stars! Congratulations! Keep up the good work! But I have a question. How did you make this patch changes in the middle of the music? You used the pedal? Wich switch did you use?

I have a Fantom X8 too, thats why I'm asking you this.

    Thank you and congratulations again!

  • thx! read some older postings...:)) there you'll find a description!

  • Form your own band, man! 2:10 and further particularly impressive!

  • Hey,

  • Man, you're amazing! Nice programming, too

  • THAT WAS TIGHT

  • It was, and so were his pants

  • lolol

  • Cool Man!

I wonder if this is the real synthetiser Jordan Rudess use for his sounds? I got a Triton Extreme myself but I just can't do Solos like Rudess!! Do you have any hint for me?

    Thanks and great Playing!

  • the LTE albums were recorded when Jordan used a K2500.. nowadays he uses the Korg OASYS.

  • I mean a Kurzweil K2500x

  • Was that what he used before the K2600xs?

  • Yes, the K2500x was the model beforce the K2600s

  • lovely.

  • This is really good!

  • too quiet man

  • dude u r amazin!i need u in my band

  • Whatt a fuckkkkkkkkkkk! Okey

  • HOLY SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • Thank you very much.

    -Jeff

  • Not speed up. This seems really fun to play. Great job. Did you assign the pedal to cycle through different patches? If you did, could you help me out on how to do this. It would be a big help. Keep it up man.

    Thanks,

    -Jeff

  • hi and thanks...

1)press shift+enter to get to the menu

2)press regist to fix the patches in order

3)assign 2. pedal to ''live set up''

    use the menue:

    pedalMenu--pedal/dbeam--control pedal assign:live set up

  • Check how jordan rudess can play and edit you're post :P

  • thx!

  • Try recording without the playback, it's too hard to make out what part of it is yours.

At the times it's more distinguished, it sounds like you're out of sync.

Sorry, would be happy to see a repost though.

  • hmm...I can hear the strings, the clavi, the piano and the lead sound very clear! But the bell sound...ok a little too silent :)

  • frekin' awesome

  • great!!!!!!!

  • wicked

  • wow

    excellent

  • oh good job man i love it!

which kind of patches have u used?

  • I can´t hear!, music is to loud.

Anyway, great playing. i play guitar, but im trying to learn this song on keyboards.

  • nice job.......and nice keyboard!!! i want it!

  • NICE

  • nice

  • great song. and played on the best board of all time!!

  • great stuff mate. i can play the main riff and the solo (slowly). haha, anyway fantastic stuff there. Prog!

  • hi =)

the control pedal assign option I use is: 'Live set up'

but it still takes long to load the sounds!(as you can see at some moments on my vid!)

  • I use the pedal to the same function in my humble Juno-G. Wish the manufacturers would wake up and allow 2 pedals for up AND down control, but...

    Great playing by the way!

  • Hello Christoph, i also admire liquid tension experiment, and you did very well playing it. But I have a question concerning live playing with my fantom x. I suppose that you're changing the sounds in this live setting with the control pedal. But how did you adjust it, is it "prog up"?. If yes, then why does it change only performances/patches in row, not the live setting? Also, in live settings, it takes too long to load the sound, i see that your x8 changes the sound immidiately.

  • Oh yeah, the word "excellence" comes to mind! Especially on a machine as beautiful as one from the Fantom X line.. I had an S-88 myself until recently. Great playing. Up the irons!

  • Nice Keyboard man!

I've got one just like it.

  • props man, props....probably the best progressive keyboard cover in my opinion.

  • you are virtuoso i see your video of transcription of oscar peterson you break all fantastic ^^

  • You Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish i could do that

  • You seem to play very nice but we don't hear that much your own keyboard sound. It would be better if you had used a MIDI backing track without the keyboards instead ;)

  • hmm...I can hear the strings, the clavi, the piano and the lead sound very clear! But the bell sound...ok a little too silent :)

  • 5 STARS!!

  • jooonge....kaum zu glauben..der wahnsinn :)

  • O.O oh fuck... wie kann man nur so toll spielen? Geil!
