Nice mod- you can also turn a glass tank on its side and mount a ventilated dropdown door w/ to the opening so it will operate like a true snake cage and keep humidity.

@joeprestara It's not a flip up lid, but a sliding one with a lock. it was quick to see toward the beginning, but usmcxsharp removed the pin and slide the top to show it was still functional.

That's a GREAT set up. I need to do that to this 55 gallon. I killed my snake with too much heat. Lights, plus sun coming in directly from window. Wanna get another one. How'd you do it???
