I think Pacquiao is little overrated. Yes, he has improved his fighting style but he can't prove it very well with the past fights. Vs Clottey, it was all pacquiao, vs margarito, even slower than him, the mexican made some damage to pacquiao (see rd 6 and 8), versus mosley, well we just saw it Mosley was merely reluctant to fight. I recently watched the 2nd fight of this two guys and Pacquiao hasn't changed at all.

No, Pac has timed this perfectly because he's spent time at the higher weights while marquez has stayed at lightweight. As i hear this fight will take place at a catch weight of 144... thats well above the weight marquez is used to fighting, more than a 1 weight class up... Manny, yet again, using catch weights. Weight advantage or not, odds-on-favorite or not, Pacquiao has to know that Marquez is not Clottey or De la Hoya, slow and not throwing back; and he is not Mosley, intimidated by the power and hand speed of Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao is little overrated. Yes, he has improved his fighting style but he can't prove it very well with the past fights. Vs Clottey, it was all pacquiao, vs margarito, even slower than him, the mexican made some damage to pacquiao (see rd 6 and 8), versus mosley, well we just saw it Mosley was merely reluctant to fight. I recently watched the 2nd fight of this two guys and Pacquiao hasn't changed at all.

Desde que Manny subió a welter, los welterianos se han visto opacados por la rapidéz del Pacman, pero nadie tan fajador y efectivo como Juan Manuel Márquez. Juan Manuel Marquez would beat Dela Hoya, Cotto, Margarito, and Hatton easily. Pac is over rated. hes a strong puncher. but besides Marquez, he hasnt really been in a fight with a good counterpuncher. Im sure Floyd would beat Manny, but id rather have Marquez beat him this fall since Mayweather is such a pussy! Lets hope the fight happens at 140. But i doubt it. @vergazonorteno i doubt JMM is better than Cotto. You gotta remember that PAC relied too much on his left hand when he fought JMM. PAC has improved his right hand since the second fight with JMM. It'll be hard to counter someone who throws 5-6 punch flurries with precision. It'll be a better fight than PAC-Mosley for sure but I don't see JMM beating PAC now.

@Garduno19 you are totally an idiot in terms of combat...if that happens in real life...marquez must have been begging for his life when pacquiao bombared him with punches...one judge admitted that he have errors on the 1st fight...he scored the first round 10-7 instead of the standard 10-6 because of 3 knockdowns...and if the 3 KD rule was applied...the first fight was just a walk in the park for pacquiao...

The 3KD didnt apply so dont even bring that up. 2ndly even if the judge did have an error on his score MARQUEZ DOMINATED THE WHOLE REST OF THE FIGHT. If anything id give pac at least 2 more rounds to him. It still wouldnt have made enough difference to win the fight. Marquez v Pacquiao 3 comesin November. You'll see how Marquez is truly better. & why he is the best technical boxer in the sport.
