Sure you can keep him there if you don't mind being cruel to him. Your aquarium is way too small for a foot long fish and it would be like you spending your life in a prison cell that is only 6' x 8' - would you be happy in that? When your bass gets a little bigger you should release it into the wild.

that isn't a bluegill, its a redbreast sunfish. and i'm pretty sure that it's a largemouth... they have the black stripe when they're young, and as they mature it stays on the tail but disappears from the rest of their bodies. the only possible way to tell is to look at the jaw structure, or the dorsal fin.

I have 2 Comet Goldfish like thoose, there named, Hokka and Slushy, Hokka is like 3 1/2 inches, and Slushy I just got him today, hes 2 inches. And I got a SuckerFish named, Slurpee. He's 2 1/2 inches. Like the SuckerFish slurps up algea and plants, and I also got him today. i would not recconmend it unless u plan to release it later on but a 75 gallon would work fine for a largemouth and ur other fishes but maybe eventually u would have to upgrade
