  • I have that camera. My mom bought it for me when I was 8. (It was 3 years ago)

  • My son loves cameras, he likes to be in photos and always poses and then asks me to show him the photo, then poses again, and can do that for hours. I wont lend him my DLSR, so I guess I'll buy him this for christmas...

  • i could see kids messin around and accidentally taping crimes haha

  • the VTech KidiZoom Plus is 2 megapicel and you can edit and play games

  • This camera is not a 1.3 megapixel camera, it is a 0.3 megapixel camera that can fudge 1.3 megapixel but that does not make it a real 1.3 megapixel. This video is titled as a review but it does not seem like a review, rather just an advert to sell the camera.

Thanks for the feedback. Always welcomed. We get to play with gadgets all day, so it's easy to criticize us (we have really cool jobs that everyone wants).

We took pictures with the camera using its different settings - I didn't feel the 1.3MP picture was fudged, but then again, photography does leave room for opinion. We've reviewed high-end cameras that some fans hate, and cheaper point-and-shoot models that some of them swear by.

  • It's not a case of whether you feel it is fudged and it's not an opinion it's a fact the camera uses interpolation to achieve a simulated 1.3MP, this is not the real resolution, the real resolution is 0.3MP so it's hugely misleading to say so. I suggest if you are going to review technical items in a technical way you get educated first as you have demonstrated here that you lack even the most basic of understanding of the technical aspects of what you are reviewing.

  • Maybe the reason you get to play with gadgets all day is that you give favorable but misleading reviews such as this, that's not the sort of job most people want that's for sure.

Bear in mind that for approximately $50, our team genuinely liked this product because it gives kids a very creative and relatively high-tech toy - and if you have kids, you know how much they love toys that feel like "adult" stuff.

Do not buy this camera if you want a 1.3MP camera (duh). Buy it if you have a 3 - 8 year old and you want to encourage creativity - this is a really cool toy.
