I bought this in 1981 and really, really tried to persuade myself that I liked it...being a New Romantic and all that ...but sadly it is bloody awful. Ah well - check out their cover of Summer In The City and its B-side "Vile Bodies"- they're pretty good. But the rest? Ach, terrible.
Remember this well, used to go down Great Gear Market in Covent Garden and met the Girls from Shock there, used to buy my stuff from same store, used to see Gary Numan in Kings Road and chatted to Steve Strange (Visage) there aswell.
I too remember going there as well, although i have to correct you the great gear market was in the kings road, i worked for a short time in kahn and bell, (where the clothes came from, next to the hairdressers in the corner) i met sean (tok) and Tim (Tik) as few times, i had the time of my life in this era and wish i was young enough to carry it off again
