  • so what about spanish people called Jesus pronounces Hey-sus? nobody has a prob with that! it's a name get over it!

  • Is he not amazing!! Trip lee is soo beautiful

  • Man, I just had some demons cast out of me. Wow. I feel better.

  • I did express my feeling about the name Jesus below and that is that. However, I do like the work that you are doing and hope that you continue to lift up the Gospel and publish videos to inspire the world.

  • You name your son after Jesus? There is only one Jesus. That is why I am glad that there are no images of Jesus on Earth. You would probably have your son "looking" just like Jesus, too. We suppose to do what he does spiritually. But if God told you to name your son Jesus, just pay my words no mind and keep pushin. If He did not tell you to name your son that...

  • @moshesh Thanks for the comments. I agree with you there is only one Jesus who is Lord and Savior. However there were men named Jesus before and after him. Joshua and Justus both shared the same name as Jesus. The meaning of the name is "Yahweh is salvation". Maybe I'll name my next son after one of the apostles like John or Peter then people might not have a problem with it. Hope that helps. ;)

  • @GoodNewsTalkShow John and Peter r mere mortals not comparable to Christ. So that is fine n my opinion. You can name your child whatever you want. All this is my opinion. That name Jusus was placed above all names! That is a lot 2 put on a little boy if God did not tell you 2 name him that. He will go through his entire life with this name and the ridicule that will come with it because his mom or dad named him after, of all people, our savior. I c why God never provided us with His real name.

  • @moshesh I appreciate your comments but I strongly disagree. It's cool though you can think what you want. I would encourage you to read Col 4:11 to see that He was not the only one named Jesus in the bible how ever He is the ONLY one who is Lord and Savior. If my son name was Joshua it's translated to the same meaning, they had the same name. Ok i'm done with the discussion. Thanks for Watching.

  • @GoodNewsTalkShow Time will tell. It Christ told you to name him that then cool. If not, time will tell.

  • @GoodNewsTalkShow its true true, Joshua, Israel, and Jesus all shared basically the same name: Deliverer. its all good. now if you were to be all "i'm going to name my kid 'the way the truth the life' " then thats a little out there. and if you knock people naming their kids Jesus, then you should definitely knock the people naming them Joshua as well, just so you aren't inconsistent with your argument. but hey, i'm planning on naming my kid Athanasius. look that guy up, he was sweet

  • @ihatepenguins247 Thanks for the comments fam. I read about Athanasiaus in my church history class about a year ago. I knew he did great things but if i'm not mistaken didn't he fall away from the faith toward the end of his life or was accused of being a heretic?

  • @GoodNewsTalkShow hehe, thankfully in the case of Athanasius, being called a "heretic" wasn't the same as falling away from the faith. the church went through some struggles working out some doctrines that aren't explicitly in the Bible. they didn't really agree on their Christology. others didn't like him because he was young. he was called a heretic by the people who believed Jesus wasn't God. so yeah he was exiled but it gave him time to write "Orations or Discourses against the Arians".

  • trip that dude, check out the vid i made of his song good news

  • Great Show Bro! Min. Rhonda held it down and Trip hit a great point about the many men over his life the poured into him. If I wasn't already a believer in true discipleship I would be now.

  • @challengetheculture Thanks for the comments Discipleship is vital. God Bless

  • Thanks y'all we did the interview at the concert he did in Detroit that was the "Greater Than Dreams" Youth Room.

  • Nicely edited, Timashion. Thanks for the opportunity to share Jesus' mandate to all Christians. You're doing great work.

  • Good show. The "interested" part is def. tough. Sometimes I've had to chase down people to gain their trust and their was fruit. Sometimes that was in vain. Where was the Trip Lee interview taken place at?
