Garanca and Netrebko sing gorgeously together here. And why ? Because this is perfectly suited to their lyric voices. They're singing Anna Bolena is not right for their voice. Netrebko isn't a dramatic soprano, she's just a lyric coloratura. This is much better repertoire for her. I'd love to hear her and Garanca sing the sisters in Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, which has the most lovely duets for women. Stick to simple lyric roles Netrebko, don't try reaching for the heavy-dramatic stratasphere
