  • Just a few suggestions regarding the method. Eggs are easier to separate when they're room temp. The whites will get to stiff peaks much faster with the whip attachment for the Kitchenaid. If you start with room temp cream cheese and beat it until soft then gradually add the yolks you won't have lumps either. If you fold the whites in 2 batches you also won't lose as much of the "lift" from the meringue. Thanks for the video! :)

  • Don't want to sound mean but I couldn't watch your vid because the background music nearly made my ears bleed!! I tried but it was just too distracting. Dont know why people put music on talking videos! You lose me every time.

  • Thanks for the advice, I'm new at this and NOT very technical. I had to clean the bowl so I could do the egg whites and I don't have a 2nd bowl for my mixer......

  • Okay..word of advice...clean up AFTER you demonstrate....no one wants to wait until you finish washing dishes, dump the garbage, check messages, take a bathroom break (okay Im embellishing but you get the point) etc.- Yikes!..time is everything...its ONE time...its a VIDEO....just show what we need to see since this is real time...and drop the background music..over the screaming mixer I had to put it on mute and miss the instruction...
