  • do the beetle

  • its a 69

  • So, what are you pushing on with the screwdriver?

  • @The66StangMan I'm jumping the terminals on the starter solenoid

  • @bah53 Ohh, im having an electrical issue with my mustang. Its a 66 and has a 200ci I6 in it and i have a good battery in it put every time i turn the key it clicks once and then nothing happens. Seems to be electrical. But, i gotta thank you for all your videos. Lol, love your falcon

  • @The66StangMan I would start by taking off all of the elecrical connections that run to the solenoid and starter and clean them up real good and see if that takes care of it. Sometimes the contacts in the solenoid get pitted up and click but don't make contact, so if cleaning all the connections dosen't help it could be your solenoid.

  • @bah53 That's the same thing i was thinking. But to make sure i don't have any more problems, Im gonna replace the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, and solenoid. So, have you done anything with that fuel pump on that c-10 yet?

  • @The66StangMan Nope, havent touched it yet, too many other projects

  • @bah53 Ahh, alright. Good luck with all the projects. It you ever get some time it would be awesome to see that falcon again.

  • still have this thing?

  • @curtismundy yeah its still sitting there

  • i have a 86 k20 custom deluxe 4x4 i got to say its rusted out but got new body parts and paint alot of work ahead, used to bve a salt truck

  • it may need soem oil

  • Mine sat for more than 10 years and fired right up

  • grenchs car

  • why did you stop driving it?

  • ive actually never driven it (not my truck) but i dont think its seen the road in over twenty years. I think one of the reasons it was parked is because the brake lines were rusting out, now the whole damn thing is a bucket of rust

  • old chevy 307 or 350?

  • i think its a 350 but im not 100% sure

  • looks like a 307

  • it very well could be, im not very familiar with chevy engines

  • it looks like the stock 292

  • Erm ,if you knew what your were talking about you would know that that engine is a 307 dumbass.

  • umm ok you cant really tell dumbasssssss shut the fuck up im sick you punks that think u know about cars

  • Um, well if my dad has a 307 C-10 I believe I would know it is one seeing as the block is smaller you dumb fuck, and the 307 was the smallest V-8 option for this year C-10. Just because you know hardly anything about these trucks doesn't mean you bash the people who know more and correct you.. little childish bastard.

  • hey you fucking fag i got vids of my truck...307 is a pussy v8...all those times u were talking shit...go look at my page

  • Ha, you foolish redneck bastard. The 307 isn't a pussy engine. Its the base model engine and provides just enough torque and horsepower to get the job done. Plus its an all original, low mileage, one owner truck with several rare options which make it collectible, unlike your hillbilly clonker. Yes, it isn't as powerful, but it is far more rare and in far better condition than your truck will ever be.

  • dude the 307 IS a pussy engine...ok seriously. my truck is a 1971 cheyenne 100% rust free...the paint is old and scratched because its almost 40 years old...you dumb fuck. and why are you arguing your dad has the truck not you. you prolly drive a 1991 ford tempo. My truck happens to be a 2 owner me and the guy who bought it brand new in 1971. Its a v8 sport package. So quit talking shit about a truck that isnt even yours

  • Ok, then.. HOW is the 307 a "pussy" engine?? Ha, 100% rustfree my ass. that piece of shit is probably caked with body filler and the rocker panels are GONE. Yes, the truck is my dads but when he passes it being willed to me! Thank you for asking about what I drive because that so-happens to be a 1968 Cheyenne short box, all original 396 TH350, paired with every luxury and performance option offered that year, including bucket seats & factory A/C. My daily driver is a 2003 Acura 2.3L.

  • ok for 1 the rocker is gone.. ive seen alot newer with rusting rockers..body filler is a no. and when you get some pics and videos ill believe you. im sure your lying because its weird how you and your dads truck both have "EVERY" factory option...so im sure ur lying, seriously get a life

  • My truck and my fathers truck are both within my family. 1968 was my grandfathers. He died 3 years ago, and always knew I would love to have it. It has EVERY option because my grandfather was 1 of 778 other people who ordered everything on the list including the 396 4-bbl. Also, I never said my dads 1971 has EVERY option. The unique options are the outside rear bed light and deluxe interior. Due to a recent beach trip my camera is now ruined. I will buy a new one as soon as I can to prove that.

  • hahahaahahaha really ur gonna use the "my camera is broken" lie...you are a fail! u told me before not to use that excuse and i didnt you are a liar...so quit talking shit you fucking wannabe

  • Really?? gimme your e-mail address and expect some photos when I get another camera. I will have if for sure next week.

  • still havent see any pics...im calling your bluff

  • haha all i seen was a shitty truck, we have a 1 that sounds at least 10x better than what u got

  • HAHAHA oh boy another person on here talking shit about my truck. ok lets get this straight. my truck is 40 years old, i havent had the time or money to put it through a restoration right now due to me still being young and in school. and my truck isnt that loud basically because i dont have it set up for that and i think its dumb to bring undue attention to yourself

  • 292 is a inline 6 not a v8

  • Nice vid.

It appears this truck has an electronic HEI distributor. If so, it has to have full 12v to operate, and the points dist that was originally in the truck used about 5v, stepped down through a resistor wire. This engine should be super easy to hotwire and get running: Simply feed a wire from the + battery terminal to the 12v terminal on the dist cap and thats it. I would run the fuel pump off a bottle, the tank is probably totally gunked up by now. Good luck.

  • yeah, my uncle put that dist in because he dosent like working with points. that melted wire in the video is the 12v for the dist, so ive gotta take that off and run a new one. you cant see it in the video but i had a gas can hooked up to the pump, the whole system was dry so ill have to prime it and fill the carb bowl before i start it

  • Boy, brings back memories... Here's one of my episodes... CW

  • Cool, i think mine may take longer to start tho lol

  • she has potential =)

  • it will run.

  • nice its not froze up and turns over pritty well. good luck with this one. are you going to do anything with this truck if you get it running?

  • no, its too rusty to be good for anything but parts. my uncle wants to keep the motor because he thinks it may have 4 bolt mains

  • Count me in on the list of people waiting on episode 2. I want to see this old rust bucket run!

  • nice cant wait for the next episode ill take that truck off your hands lol :)

  • maybe if u remove the belt she'll crank faster eh

  • it might, but that belt looks like its about to snap anyway so if i fix that wire and it still wont start ill take the belt off

  • wow.ten years.True mileage is probably unknown, right?

  • im not sure what the mileage is, when i go down there next ill see what the odometer says

  • Okay.Thanks.

  • we dont need no stinkin bed lol

  • Sweet! I am surprised it even cranks, sitting 10 years, although it sounds pretty tight, but not bad!

It'll be cool to see if this truck (or any of those other cars) will even fire!

I'll be waiting for episode 2!

  • me too
