He was in the epic "Critic Vs Nerd" battle and on their trip to Chicago. So Spoony's worked with the Critic, who's worked with the AVGN, who's worked with ScrewAttack! It's like a six degrees of seperation from Spoony thing goin' on.

and it will continue to have maps as long as ppl support it, and it shows no signs of losing momentum anytime soon.

and yes,s ome of the maps lacked detail, because they are custom maps!!! some are better than others. play some more games and you will realize that the average KF map is better than most games with map editors.
