Apparently she had a cutting problem going back to elementary age, and had signs of bulimia around that time too. She had a lot of pain and self-esteem issues throughout her childhood, and the more I listened to her cover, the more I could feel the emotion in her voice. Different emotion from Christina, of course, but still.

This is a ridiculously difficult song to sing, an expert-level Christina song (the only ones harder are songs on the Mariah catalog, like "Anytime You Need A Friend," "Emotions," "Vision of Love," you know, stuff impossible for anyone but Queen Mimi).
