It's not bad. The style is nice. The song seems a bit random in structure. The drums don't seem to carry the song along, though the rest of the instrumentation revolves around the rhythm heavily. The song also lacks a solid low end which is necessary. The bass tone as it is would sound awesome for drops and breaks, but it needs to be filled in. The kick should punch harder. The production values are otherwise really good, instruments are clean and lie in their own space on the sound spectrum.
I already started a track that should be a part 2 to this one,
but that one is more based on break-beats. But maybe, in the future I'll make a better version where the 'middle-chill' is played with REAL reggae-instruments.
