On December 24,2006 at 8 o'clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter.if you don't repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. Sorry i dont want to die
"What if the sky falls...?" It's fallen on all of us at one time or another. "Like a fat kid suicide..." Never been fat, but been there, feeling lonely, cryin only...my heart as dead as Texas roadkill. "Give me two more minutes of your twisted love." We'd all kill for those two minutes at some point in our lives. But "heaven help me 'cause your heart's as dead as mine." Oh god, I fucking LOVE Therapy?! <3
i dont really get how they aren't bigger. I love alot of bands who are under appreciated but in the end you can identify their flaws for a comericial audiance. Therapy? however.. a band with a rare talent of being able to make music that could appeal to everyone without sounded commercial.
@TheJohndoe63 Still about, just ignored by the rock press to a large extent these days sadly. They've released some cracking albums in the last decade, and their newest just got re-released the other week with some bonus tracks.
I wasn't sure about Semi-Detached, but I saw it in a charity shop and got it just because it was Therapy?, so I got a lovely surprise when I realised that it's a really great album.
And that is by no means a bad thing. These guys can write a catchy hook like no-one mine. For me this is one of those albums that gets played on rotation over summer months!
Well they're quite an eclectic band whose style varies from album to album.....I'd say the catchiest albums of theirs would be "Semi-Detached" (the one this song is from), "Troublegum", "High Anxiety" and "Shameless".
They're the most accessible ones, the rest of the albums get a lot darker.
Most songs on Semi-Detached or High Anxiety are in the same light-hearted, sort of poppy vein as this, but (as paranoidave said) a lot of the other stuff is darker and less accessible.
This is from the album "Semi-Detatched", so check that out for songs with a similiar sound to them. Other albums I really love are Trouble Gum - check out "Nowhere" and "Screamager" especially, "Infernal Love" - "Stories" is a great tune as is "Bad Mother". The album "High Anxiety" (released well after this album) has a similar sound to it I think. Their new stuff has been really good - Crooked Timber which came out this year has some great tracks on it.
Thanks to all for the answers, i really dont know too much of this band but im getting interest, i see they could sound really pop sometimes but darker a few more. Sorry for my crappy english.
semi detached is a fucking amazing record, possibly their best considering it was a sort of comeback between record labels (IIRC),
this album and this song in particular helped me after a break up, 18 months in a relationship totally besotted, and single minded, fucked off on friday night, saturday morning walking like a zombie to find therapy? had released a new CD, BOOOM!
these guys never play the US come to NEW YORK CITY!!! i know tons of people who would see ya last time i saw them in NYC was at Tramps that was in 1994.........so come on unless im missed them but its been too long these guys kill
great song i thought "Troublegum' could not be beat then they blasted out "Infernal Love" not that "Nurse","Babyteeth",Caucasion Pychocis" and "Hats off to the insane" are not good they rock as does their new stuff but "Troublegum" is just my fav
Disagree. They have had some cracking songs since. Long distance, Rise Up, If it kills me, Ten year plan etc etc.
I would personally say that semi-detached is an underated album but i have to say Never Apologise Never Explain although not immediate like other Therapy albums is my favourite.
This song is amazing! Glad I saw them play it live! (What a show off prick, I know, but they are amazing and deserve all the plaudits! Anyone who disagrees is wrong. FACT!)
i love this tune. and troublegum was my teenage years on a CD. just found this tune "Radio Girl" by VolBeat - check that out if you like this! but buy Therapy?'s DVD first :)
happy days..

This could be the fact that I'm highly exhausted and a bit insane, but I wish Lady Gaga would cover this.
Prepare for the backlash.
