Pepsi throwback is actually the original pepsi until they started adding that gooey crappy high fructose corn syrup stuff to it. I wonder if Coke a cola will start having a throwback pop.

I think that Pepsi may have opened a Pandora's box with Pepsi Throwback. As a Coke drinker, I switched to Pepsi Throwback because it is made the way soft drinks were intended. I've noticed that places that carry it are running in short supply due to demand. The market is speaking Pepsi, and it wants you to market it... permanently as opposed to a limited time.

I tried the pepsi and mountain dew throwback. After that, when I went back to regular pepsi, I can't believe how the HFCS pepsi tasted after I tried the throwback pepsi because the throwback pepsi is so much better and quenched my thirst even more. I can't stand the regular pepsi anymore. I wished the throwback will become the regular pre-1984 pepsi and mountain dew all over again. It's sad that it's available for limited time. I want them permanent.

I've actually tried Pepsi Throwback once in... probably Spring/Summer 2009, but the bottle was blue, and had the first Pepsi logo design on it.

I hope this drink isn't available for a limited time, I hope it can stay forever.

Love the Mountain Dew Throwback. it finishes clean and doesn't leave you thirstier after drinking a can.

You have to love good 'ole American marketing! As if sugar isn't bad enough for you, and of course knowing that high fructose corn syrup is even worse, they come out with this product, and people herald and praise it left and right! Yes, sugar is a bit safer than HFCS, and it tastes better, but this stuff is still a large cause of obesity around the world! Enjoy it in moderation!

Really glad they came out with a new batch!! I was able to get some bottles and cans in CA. Really good stuff, old HFCS Pepsi has a really bad aftertaste, especially in cans, but throwback is the real deal. In fact it seems way better than the last 'blue' throwback.
