At least they have now one and this strike is now over plus some of these workers I know a handful of them from the Allegheny and Midvale depots and even one operator who has been a contact for me this strike wanted to go back to work and I thank that friend of mine for these updates.

I would like to know how much Willie Brown makes a year, and how much of his pension/retirement fund is funded.. how much does he pay for his medical benefits? Septa managements pension is funded at 90%, and the "workers" are at 52%.. WAKE UP AND WELCOME TO CORPORATE AMERICA!!!!!!!!!! I getup at 4:30 every morning.. leave for work at 5:30 an dont get home until around 6 pm.I have off on regular holidays just like most people.. and now that Septa is on strike I get up earlier/home later. I did NOT get a raie this year due to the economy, I pay much more than 1% to my healthcare, pay my own 401K.. my benefits were cut EXTREMELY this year, because I can not afford the increase that EVERYONE was hit by.. these greedy bastards should be appy to have a job at all!

You guys get paid more than me, and I'm a college student with more than 40K in student loans. Don't talk to me about your freaking rights--the rest of the entire US is on salary freezes and being laid off--but here you are demanding more money? You all must be out of your mind, and the first lady, who is talking about not seeing her family--GET ANOTHER JOB! Doctors also work on Holidays and crazy hours, but guess what lady--they chose that!

@mysticsage921 I was thinking the exact same thing about doctors so I couldn't agree with u more on that. Some will even get call in the middle of the night for emergencies. I feel they have more stress on them because they actually do stuff and run around like crazy and all these guys do is sit on their asses all day driving around while they make $50k a year which is most def a lot of damn money!

thank you for the video. i had to laugh out loud when the gentleman said he thinks the local media is a little biased. i think the media is overtly overwhelmingly biased against the workers. i've even seen some character assassinations of willie brown himself, as if that has any place on a front page. for a healthy debate, we need more views from the worker point of view, and i'm angered that you can't find anything of the kind in the mainstream media.

I lost mine a year and a half ago and had to move from Portland, OR - home to one of the best transit systems in America - and move back to Philly to find work, and oh yeah, I got here last Friday to yet another stupid Septa strike and now I can't even go on job interviews and may lose my unemployment because of you greedy fucks. Times are hard enough.The more money taken from the city budget,the worse off its gonna be. Im my opinion there are people without jobs who would apprecieate the jobs 234 isnt trying to do.
