I have just bought this camera and it is great! A nice crisp picture followed by good sound quality. Check out my channel to see a HD 1080p test video of this camera.
One question, i just bought this camera. I recorded some stuff, but when i try to import the videos on to my computer, it works, but when they play, a pop up comes up and says that my computer will play at 2fps and makes my video really crappy. any help?
This may have been asked earlier but I cant be arsed to scroll down....does any one know if it has manual adjustable fps and what they are if it does ? Im trying to telecine 16mm film at either 18 or 24fps from a projector and recording it using a Banana would be better quality than my current camera.
what are the fps? (frames per second) on a auto video recording, can you change the amount you use on it, or is there only one type, which im guessing to be 25 fps?
Hi mate great video. I bought this camera today and having an issue with it and was wondering if you find the same problem. When I am about to record video or when I do record video I get messajd states camera panning is too fast. I am hardly even moving the camera. Is the normal? Thanks in advance
@ryanonpiano looks like the sensor or summit is faulty, send it back for a replacement. i get it but its only when im moving the camcorder really fast.
great video mate.im also going to buy this.i have a panasonic tz7 camera which is superb but it only records in 720p.so,im buying this purely as a video camera.im well impressed with panasonic.was considering a canon but after owning a tz7 cant fault them.avchd format was a pain for me too, however you need to get different software,i use cyberlink power director which is really easy to use.my panasonic software with the tz7 was awful!anyways thanks mate thanks for this footage.
im returning my hdc sd10 to pixmania for this cam. its got a larger cmos chip than the sd10 which should make for slightly better low light or indoor performane, and 25 times optical zoom, compared to the sd 10's 16.
wider lens.but no proggresive scan the sd 10 has a cinema mode.which i thin is only supported via a panasonic veirra tv. suporting the colour mode.
2.how good is the Auto focus at night or low light
3.how responsive is the touch screen
i want you till wait till the sunsets in glasgow centre or your area and zoom the fastest you can and tell me how long the camera goes out of focus for.
I have a T2i (550D EOS). The lens is way better than its smaller camcorder counter parts. It does 1080p at 30 or 24fps. It does 720p at 60 or 24 fps. I use my photo equipment for preserving memories and vacations. My plan was to keep my Canon XSi and get a Canon camcorder for around $800. When I looked at the T2i I realized I could get a better image quality camcorder and step up my picture taking quality for the same price. In addition, I sold my XSi for $465.
@DerekZimmer interesting. i seen the Eos 550D and loved it, i was at one of the digital photography exhibition and seen it at the Canon stall. Looks stunnin
@sweetypie000 ur camera sounds like a sniper rifle more than anything lol, with the scope an all. I got the three year extended guarantee (yeah i didnt want to risk it after my sony w300 went bust). so far so good
Grabbed one of these babies last week. Very pleased with it! :)

Hi theunits3, great video & camcorder u have there. Just would like to ask u a few things with regards the Camcorder Panasonic HDC-SD60.
1. Was the OIS on or off when u were recording this?
2. Is the Optical Image Stabilization as good as Sony Optical Steadyshot?
3. If I burn the HD movie that is captured by SD60 to DVD, will I still able to playback by normal DVD Player(to HDTV) and still get the HD quality?
Thank you for sharing.

Now that you have had a chance to test this camcorder, do you still feel the same way about it, is it all you thought it would be?
