I think I may have met his father many years ago. Growing up in Detroit, I had a job as a teen working in the neighborhood corner store. This was just when the winnans were just getting started. Well at this store which was on ST Clair and Mack st, I was a cashier. This older gentleman came in to cash his check I noticed the last name winnans. I asked if he were related, his reply was, yes and that he was their(the winnans) grandfather. I hope that he got it right with his son Pop winnan then
