  • I really enjoy and benefit from your videos. You may want to make a small lean-to shed to put your compressor in on the outside of your house. I did that and the decrease in noise was wonderful.

  • @draygnol Appreciate it - and wish I could, but I live in a dense residential area and often run the compressor late at night - so it will have to stay inside

  • You got this bad boy up and running yet?

  • @ceglass2003 getting close. assembly complete and I've got the axis moving, but need to get the plasma electric wired up and am finding the AVHC hookup wiring a bit daunting...

  • Damn. You really talk to much. It's good that you're thorough when making videos, but do people really need tips and tricks on how to open a crate of stuff? If they do I find it hard to believe that they'll even be able to manouver the CNC properly, or even put it together for that matter.

  • @aluzart If my videos are a waste of time, then don't watch them. I cover uncrating because people care. It affects how the receive shipment, how they layout in their shop for setup and to help ensure they don't damage insides. And it helps save time - if you already know how it is packed inside, you are more educated about how to unpack.

  • I cant wait to see what you can do with this machine!!

  • 5:15 Hour and a half... and to feed the dog, LOL

  • Don't ever say the word "DROP" to delivery services LOL

  • uh, things are getting a wee bit crowded and unsafe.

  • @GnosisMan50 I hear you. I intend to clear out the small workbench and cart to the left of the machine. I may move the air compressor too. I know it's a small space - but I'll make it work - at least until we move to a bigger shop.

  • You will want to add a really good ventilation/filtration system for the plasma cutter. The dust from these is really bad and will not do your cnc mill any favors! Best of luck with it all!

  • @rkward101 Thanks! I am very conscience (and somewhat concerned) about the dust affecting both me and the cnc mill. I'm told the water table helps - but health & safety are important. I'll keep everyone posted on what I come up with re: dust/vent/filter/etc.

  • I can't wait to see the rest. Thanks for the upload!
