You are right it is called "Eliyahu Hanavi synagogue", but the reason I titled it "El Nabi Daniel" because the people around that synagogue called it that way.

No I am from Cairo, but I graduated from the Alexandria University and had spent most of the summers in Alexandria vacationing with the family.... so actually I am more Eskandarany than Masrawy

It is wonderful for Jewish people to see that synagogues still stand in Egypt.There are some that do not know that Egypt played a bit of a major role in Judaism. I guess that is the proof that they were never Jews in the first place!
