I watched that video a looong time ago...and now I found it again...wow! A very inspiring and breathtaking video, I want to experience this once in my life. Must be a wonderful feeling flying high over the clouds in such a colorful cabin :) btw what is the soundtrack called? :)

Hey ek433.

I am travelling on the a380 soon, ek413, syd-dxb then on to Manchester.

I know Sydney take off is at 10:00pm and it will be dark by then, so unfortunately wont get to see Sydney of the way off, but, what side do you think I should sit on for arrival in Dubai, for views and stuff? Seeing as you have landed there on this same route before!

@PooCait If I were you I would sit on the right hand side of the aircraft, they usually tend to land from the North so this should give you a good view of the city! Have a great flight!

I assume the reds and purples are supposed to imitate the sun rising maybe, but it it not colour perfect, they are just meant to help you wake up.

lol, i remember when I went on the A380 from DXB to New York they didnt hvae a purple coloured mood light during sunrise
