yeh same wif me, second day of surf i got pushed in huge waves got smashed, cut my legg hit my had couldnt walk for a day and my shortboard was all fucked up
the thin got stuck inside the board.... look how big the waves are in manly and in curlcurl.
Channy, I think you will sink the board or have a tough time popping up. Get a used 8' or longer board. A 9' foam board would be perfect. I think my son was about 60 pounds in that video. It's pretty cheap to rent a 9' board to test up. My preference is all foam with a soft fin.
I was looking into buying a 6' foamie board for myself. I am 16 years old, have never surfed, and i am about 136 lbs. The waves are super tiny and i was wondering if it would be worth it? like do u think i would sink the board?
Keep paddling more and paddle harder. Also, when your/he is standing up he needs to make sure the back of front of the board isn't under the water or over the water. His is way too over and that's part of the reason he's falling over. It needs to be even...
he needs to stand further up on the board just sayinr
