I found that using the grenade launcher + the one under your SCAR takes it down pretty fast. You just have to find the point of aim where the grenades fall on that fucker's face.

hey slack, one thing i noticed. when you shoot at the exosuit before it stops at the bottom and starts shooting around, you're actually wasting ammo, because it is invincible during it's decension down there (i took a closer look at the programming of warhead, and it looks like there is this kind of invincible exosuit walking down and at the bottom, right instead of the invincible one, the "real" one spawns, and only then it starts taking damage!)

Are you absolutely sure about that? Because I was wondering the same thing myself and I tested taking down the Exosuit starting right after the objective was updated (Exosuit begins climbing down) and another time only when it got down on the ground and it seems to me it took about the same amount of ammo which would indicate that it can start taking damage immediately after the objective is updated.

@MajorSlackVideos i just experimented with the same, and my results are the following:

first time, i shot the exosuit three times when he was climbing with the PAX (i used a cheat to add it to my inventory, but it's the same as the PAX in the final level), and after that it took 6 shots after the battle "really" started, so in total i spent 9 shots.

at the second attempt i waited until the exosuit was down and ready before i started shooting and it took only 6 shots total :P

Huh... okay, cool.. that sounds like a pretty good test. But did you take into account the critical hit area around the jaw/mouth? I imagine it's a lot easier to score a hit directly on the exosuit's jaw when it's 'landed' so to speak than when it's climbing down.

@MajorSlackVideos that is possible, although i think that i hit the jaw most of the time on the ground in both tests, but then it should still have taken less hits on the first test if i hit him directly before that, especially with such a powerful weapon. i think i can't be 100% certain, but i'm working on some more tests ^^
