  • Only the final sequence of "Ice Follies Of 1939" was seen in Technicolor, 'Kartoon'- the rest was filmed in black and white (including the opening credits). Columbia did the same thing with the last scene of "The Solid Gold Cadillac" (1956), followed by their end title/logo in full Technicolor...the opening title is somewhere on YouTube.

  • I didn't know MGM used a Technicolor version of their "Lion" background. Mind if you upload the opening credits to "Ice Follies of 1939"?
