  • I think college is way too expensive, we only had to pay 5 bucks a year for parking, now it is 350 bucks, books were free, now they cost thousands, tuition was 1,000 bucks, now it is 7500 a semester. What did I learn? I learned you need to jump through hoops to become a teacher, do they teach you, no, you learn that when you start teaching, sink or swim baby!

  • Agreed its more about obedience than innovation and it's become a giant money tit for socialist teachers who feel entitled to get paid because of their expensive degrees... The whole things a ponzi scheme where people with degrees want the system to stay around as they already suffered thru it and feel entitled to extra status.

  • @theboyyan Associates degree arent dat good either my bro got his 3yrs ago n atill doesnt have a job fuck a degree pick a trade

  • I'm 8 months out of college with a degree in Business Administration with 2 concentrations: Marketing and International Business, I can't even land jobs with a $10-$13/hour pay range, and I was working through college, made it out with "only" 11k in debt, fuck college, fuck the people who created this bullshit system.

  • That's why I'm going to community college and just get an associates degree

  • Wooow you are 100% right . In high school I was one of the best A+ students ,always doing all my homework ,never showing up late ,never causing trouble, they were trying to make me act like if I'm a machine and not a human being following orders and been discipline never to questioning these things. The subjects that I learned like English writing essays about stupid books ,Earth science,Global history ,art, music history , AP Environmental science, Health , were a waste of time that in the rea

  • College is a scam

  • OMG "advanced highschool" THANK YOU. Ugh I'm in my first semester and I 'm seriously reconsidering doing this college thing for 3 1/2 more years. I barely was able to pay this semester's tuition and I could only do that with loans and financial aid. The books are overpriced even if you buy used. It angers me that we're told that to make money we have to get in debt. I think I might just say screw college after this semester. A bachelor's degree will soon be the new high school diploma. Scary

  • Good video man

  • my grandfather did not go to college and he is the smartest guy i know he practicaly can fix anything from a hot water heater to a 10 speed mountain bike id like to know how he learned all this stuff lol

  • This video is perhaps the most clearly spoken and intelligently laid out argument on the topic I've seen thus far.

    I'd hire you.

  • I have a College degree & never found work either.

  • If you have a huge thirst for knowledge and that is why you want to go to college I suggest you go to the library instead.

  • @keeperoftherealm I agree with you: the library is far superior than most colleges are.

  • love this

  • Check out the video, "College Conspiracy". It's a real eye opener.

  • thanks for sharing this video. :) I agree with the fact that at 18 nobody knows what they want, i was naive thinking that i kinda did and stumbled on major after major and finally i am sticking with what i get good grades at and somewhat like...i'm a senior student now and graduating soon but i dont even know what to do after...feeling shitty...

  • Agreed. However I do know what I want to do with my life and I don't need college to achieve it. My parents just don't seem to understand that.

  • that's why i just went to community college and got my associates. then my parent sMADE me go to college. they're paying for everything and i hate it. my mom has her doctorates and my dad has his masters. they just want me to be like them. i JUST became a senior and i'm 22 :(

  • Im 19 graduated high school back in June and im not going to college untill I feel I need to. Right now I like to relax I just got done with 13 years of school, I would like acouple of years off before I become a slave again

  • @KJT922010T Agree!!

I also think it's a good idea to do it that way.

  • Another thing as well, chances are that every single person here will either get sick, get in an accident, or have a loved one with the same outcome at one point, doctors definitely did come from somewhere before college existed, but in the last 50 years, find one doctor capable of giving a heart transplant with no college education, and i will commend him and you for this ridiculous video.

  • There is a point missed in this video. The price of college may be overpriced and stressful to get through. This "piece of paper" that you despise and ridicule, is one that potentially, and probably will make someone more successful, not ignoring your comment about having a job that sucks, would you rather hate being an engineer making $100,000 a year, or hate flipping burgers at McDonalds, i for one would rather hate my job with lots of income to support a family.

  • Thank you for this video. People, until now, have looked upon my views toward college, as immature, and not beneficial. I'm a guy, that has learned more about computers, sitting at home, than all the college graduates I've ever met. If they passed all their classess, as they say, then I'm qualified, to teach college level coursework, and have been, for over 5 or 6 years. College is the biggest scam...

  • thank you so much for this man. I was feeling suicidal about not doing well in college and this video has inspired to attain my goals without the pretentious college atmosphere. Picked me right up!

  • @Wahoofuck Yes at UT Austin the professors and students harass and blacklist: does that even sound educational???? It's insane. Our society totally sucks now. The criminals and mentally ill are at the top pointing their fingers at everyone else and telling us what is right and wrong. It's awful.

  • OMG i just cried watching your videos, it totally make sense!!

  • He's totally right you guys. You may as well be free to do what you love, rather than trying to get a job you'll never like on the slim chance you'll even get it at all. Then you're stuck with paying off a ridiculous amount of debt, and put up with being miserable for a very long time; possibly for the rest of your life. Some people never get out of debt, and it keeps piling up. It makes me sick.

  • lol toll that to my asb when i was 18 and he was the prez in 2001to 2008 tool him to fuck off tooo i did not want to know what he selling and to this day fuck off !

i did just find with out your shooling and what i dont know ill learn it as need be

ps what i did learn was out school in esar to save lives not take them as he did

dumass and from SEACH GROUP 1 82 to 84 this has more power

  • I have a huge thirst for knowledge.

College sucks. I feel my time is a million times more useful reading books that I find useful, not what some arbitrary board chooses.

  • @a10fjet I prefer to read books on my own time rather than be forced into a classroom with some balding and bloated pompous professor.

  • the rest was pushing carts at and albertsons grocerry store in my home town that went under a while back a now its and HEB.

  • I know I had a weird clash I had to take when I was in early high school or middle school it was fun but I need a lot of help. Basically it was a combination of a cooking class and a sewing class combined. I had two jobs but I had to ditch them when I was midway through middle school our high school because we had a lot of problems with them. One was busing tables and cleaning trays at the local Quizno's.

  • I know what he means. I'm austic I only went t o college to stall for time because mon thought it would be good for me. Of course she did not know that the biopolar program effort at getting me out of the apartment would decay with the first year of me attending the program. I did another program in Florida from middle 2006 to 2008 that was aimed more with Aspburgers slash adl patients. It was a little better at times.

  • I like this video. I am on my third semester in college and thinking of completely dropping out. It just seems boring pointless and not of any use for life.

  • @nnndddzzz1 Same. That or just killing myself.

  • Fuck, i have like 6 homeworkes due in within days, i havent finished any of them! I have WAAY to much work.

  • dude i agree with everything you just said. right on man.

  • sigh....couldn't a realy dedicated person just learn there stuff by ascin' around and self teachings ?/? :o

  • Wisdom>Wealth. Any theres many ways to pay for college. Scholarships. But if school isn't your thing, than just don't do it. My mom went to college and became a microbiologist. She has more wisdom than many people out there. My dad, on the other hand, didn't go. It just wasn't his thing. But he still managed to become a successful man. It all depends on your goals and what you want to do. And if its for you, it definitely won't suck. If it isn't, than it will. And please, there are scholarships

  • aaron0883.................I noticed the same thing as well in the job market.........the positions that require a college degree has MEDIOCRE pay or benefits and the certain non-degree jobs (Realty agent, Transit worker, interstate truck drivers, home inspector, etc.) seem to pay a hell of a lot more!

  • join the club..

I lose so much money on university..that education scarred me for life.. Thank you high education

  • 2:30 - 2:50 = so fucking true, im in college and i can see everything youve stated.

Lets not forget the kids that go to college on there parents money or inheritence money and do nothing but DRINK DRINK DRINK, PARTY PARTY PARTY.

  • I went to college 30 years ago. It is total bullshit. Invest your money in your own business

  • But I agree with everything else you said.

  • Exception: Engineering.

  • College is quite important if you want to get into the trades.. you have to.

  • I majored in engineering and have used my degree very much in work and never had to take any B S general ed requirements and my fellow students were tolerable. That said, IT WAS HELL. Engineering school is SO hard that even working full time, being a single mom, and going to law school at night was EASIER. My big excitement of the week was to go grocery shopping as that was all the free time I had. I DID need that piece of paper but it sucked to get it.

  • I'm an advocate for education but not college education! aaron0883 makes some interesting points of how college promotes waste and fraud of taxpayers money and, we the students, are getting ripped off! I go to Arizona State and I'll admit that what I pay for education is a total rip for what I receive. The only thing good about college is all the hot ladies and good parties, that's it!!!

  • Sooo many people hate college. I'm on my last quarter and I couldn't agree more. It was awful. It took me a while to find my major, and I finally did chose a good one that I actually like, but the people at college are like sheep. They all have the same personalities, IT'S CRAZY!

I cannot wait to be done after this quarter. College, you will NOT be missed.

  • lol I love the way you put it!! I agree completely :)

  • this guy is DEAD FUCKING ON...i wish i could tell my 18 year old self to enlist

  • I never graduated from college. I've been a grocery store manager, a director of manufacturing...which I made over a million dollars....got into the Aerospace industry...building airspeed indicators for F-16's and Lear Jets....built angle of attack indicators for F-18 Hornets and Gulf Stream aircraft...now I'm in IT for a major US company! I never graduated from college.....not even 2 years! I'm living large! College is a scam.

  • Considering the cost of college these days, it may be best to wait till you're ready for it. I find most people who really wants to go are the ones who do best, and the ones who went because of pressure find college very difficult. In the end you have to use your logic and make the decision for yourself.

  • tell me about it bro

  • i agree that at 18 u are really just a child.... u cant decide then what to do with the rest of your life, unless u are one of those lucky people who has already had a calling all their life (for ex. if your whole life you wanted to be a nurse, u go to school for it then that is fine then you dont waste any time) but if you are not sure, forget it

  • think about this most rich people never went to college

  • this video should be renamed "majoring in music sucks balls"

  • Dude college is awesome... I am learning a lot in my classes, met a lot of cool people and slayed a lot of chicks. Whats not to like?

  • i went to college for art. then decided it was too competitive and too restricting as far as creativity goes believe it or not to make a career out of. i dropped out after a yr and a half. now i'm going for an online degree for vet technician where i eventually have to intern. that time is coming up and i'm already questioning it. i'm 24 now! college just sucks. i want a good paying job that isn't in a factory. i constantly question it. i'm so introverted and i fucking hate people.

  • just.think.if.you're.poor.that.means.that.the.previous.,100.generations.you.didn't.get.dick.handed.down.

  • College is great for a kid that had straight A's all through high school, or for some rich asshole because they will not have any debt.

People like me who are introverted, anti-social, and wish the system would collapse, college can be the worst experience you could ever have. I would NOT go back to college if I could do my life all over again. The kids were assholes and I ended up 60K in debt, and it never got me a job.

  • @GreatSpirit07 same here

  • @GreatSpirit07 I see what you mean. I got all straight a's in high school but now since i'm in college, I have realized that it is absolutely terrible. The expenses are RIDICULOUS, the stress is UNBELIEVABLE, and it is a waste of time. I'm only staying here until I find a really good job.

  • @GreatSpirit07 you're so right, the education system really does not leave any room for introverts, and requires way too many assignments that have no educational value except that you're doing a lot of work

  • @DeekyDicawdo Group work and team work is absolutely wasteful. What matters is what you know not what your team knows: this isn't football.

  • @GreatSpirit07 Holy shit! 60K debt for college. I will pray (of wish you luck if you're an atheist) because that is terrible. Message to others. Don't go to college unless you want to be 1) an Engineer 2) an Accountant 3) a Doctor or in medical profession. Stay away from liberal arts like its super aids.

  • @GreatSpirit07 I totally agree. Great post against the cult of college.

  • @GreatSpirit07 Do they teach people anything in college? No. You buy books, instructors just give a short lecture, you have to read the books and educate yourself while going into debt, or if you're lucky maybe you can get some financial aid. Wait. Can't you educate yourself just by going to your local library? And buying old edition books you need for cheap? Why pay insane tuition? Just educate yourself. Having a college degree today means nothing. Learn a trade.

  • Your message about college being a waste of time couldn't be more accurate. I could've spent my last three years reading and adventuring instead of allowing my spirit to rot in some impersonal institution that's only interested in scamming people of their hard-earned money.

  • I agree entirely

  • I hate college basically. I'd rather be dog sledding in Alaska and be happy instead of what I'm doing now. You are right mentioning a lot of the work being given purely doesn't serve a purpose, a waist of time is all it is.

  • I'm surprised to find so many videos here on YT on this topic. I'm a junior majoring in English, but i feel like it's all a big joke. I have to take so many classes that have absolutely nothing to do with my major, and i know that i can get free education from the local library. The professors don't really think outside the box, the students are just there to get a grade and party...it's so ridiculous. I might drop out and get on with my life.

  • Some fields lend themselves to college more than others. Degrees are pretty useless if you don't know how to go out and find a job in that field. Some fields that seem like hot ones today could be obsolete tomorrow. Of course, the world will always have "need" of quacks, politicians, and corrupt lawyers, so these degrees will prob. pay off if you have patience to wait out the lean decades.

  • Finally being done with a course that gave you worry-related stress is like getting out of an abusive relationship.

  • Your mom goes to college.

  • Problem is foundation in the schools in the US preaching that everyone is equal, and everyone should go to college. The fact is men and women are different. Some ethnicities are stronger than other and some are generally smarter than others. Not everyone is meant to be doctors, lawyers, ceo's, and accountants. Some people are meant to do manual labor (plumbers, electricians, and construction) one can make money doing that also

  • the famous writer Marcel Proust lived with his parents...i guess he sucked at his parent's teets.

  • I'm gonna start college in 3 weeks. I already have a good job and when I start college I'll have to leave it. What advice would you give?

  • U got that right dude. College students suck a lot of balls in their dorms. #LOL

  • I didn't go to college because I considered it to be a waste of time and money. I wanted to make money first. So that's what I did. Instead of slacking around in college learning about theoretical useless stuff for 4 years I instead used that 4 years to build a career. I educated myself by reading books about the stuff I needed to know. And now guess what, I have an awesome well paying job and experience while newly graduates come out of college with zero practical experience and a ton of debt.

  • I will finish college as I'm in my junior year and I've already invested my time into this. However, I feel that many people are under the false assumption that college=intelligence and that you will get a great amazing job when you graduate. Sorry, that's not reality.

  • A degree in sociology does not equal a degree in chemical engineering. If you are going to be an engineer, doctor, or lawyer, go to college. If you are getting a degree in dance, then don't go. I can honestly say that even my science accounting courses have taught me nothing...just like every other class. You basically learn to memorize information that you will forget the day after the test. I'm in the process of starting a business. It's a much better use of my time. I will finish...

  • I feel like I should comment on this: I am in college currently. I am an honors student, a business student, a pre-med student, and a student who cares about their gpa. With college, you don't get what you pay for. I can't stand college. The people are drunk, vulgar, irresponsible, lazy, belligerent, unintelligent, etc. I should also note that I go to one of the biggest party school in the country. Basically anybody can get a degree. Not all degrees were created equally....

  • so how are u making money now

  • So doctors aren't worth a degree?

  • @aaron0883 sure, jobs that require a college degree probably does suck but thats probably why they pay more too. accountants I think most hate their job but Im sure the fat paycheck they get will make up for their boring job and if you ask them would they rather be working some fun job for minimum wage they will probably say no way. I personally dont care if I pick up dog crap for a job if it pays me a fat paycheck Ill do it.

  • I made a video that speaks about the sillyness of education as well. It's titled: "Education: What are we doing?". Short video but brings so much common sense into it that it's almost undeniable, we need a change. I am tryin to spread thee message of this video to awaken humanity and open peoples eyes just as this video has openes other peoples eyes.

  • I have been in university classes for 1.5 yrs now, or 3 semesters, and i cannot escape the bizarre and blatant truth. the textbooks, the system, the professors, everything about this institution is a fraud, is a scam is fake. the most inefficient learning platform i could ever even think up. its truly amazing. i dont know what to do though i have invested so much time at this point. ugh..

  • @colinwar U know that i hit the wall right around that point, then i took a co op and made money for 8 months. It was my light at the end of the tunnel. U will be way far ahead if u man up and be an engineer. Ur job is kind of rad and the money is better than anything else u ll get. I mean like a good discipline 2 like electrical or chemical. Its awesome 2 play with this equipment and process. If ur a humanities major or something ur seriously wasting way 2 much time and money.

  • @513johma Im currently trying to major in chemistry, i still have 3 semesters left and i see no light in any tunnels. i have thought about engineering but the school i go to (university of north texas) dosnt offer electrical or chemical engineering. im just getting sick of the text books and the nonsense methods that are counter productive for what the student wants and needs which is efficient acquisition of usefull and valuable knowledge. these fucking idiots want you to learn nonsense.

  • PREACH BROTHA U TELLEM, i've finally woken up and seen the truth that college is complete bullshit and nobody needs a fuckin stupid piece of paper that they call a "degree" to get their life straight, come to think of it i don't even plan on graduating anymore I won't be done till 2013 but fuck it, i'm drop out soon, i'll just join a home based business and make money from home

  • Haha-my nigga! That is actually a rather amusing blog. However it is more an indictment of the American education system rather than the education as a whole. The UK is much better!

  • @HanafiTheMC100 yea the UK is a great magnet for muslim immigration...and immigrants from 3rd world countries... welfare for the 3rd primitive world.....

  • @BOGZASV8MA When you give California back to its rightful owners then talk about the UK-get your own house in order beofre you talk on teh UK and if your from teh UK then your a wasteman-dickhead

  • @HanafiTheMC100 Get the fuck out of Europe YOU FUCKN 3rd world SCUM BAG - make your possibilities in SOMALIA...Scotland and Wales will become independent and YOU 3rd WOLRD IMMIGRANTS WILL HAVE CLOSED BORDERS...AND IF YOU ARE ISLAMIC - FUCK YOUR RAMADAN

  • @BOGZASV8MA 1)I am a convert to Islam and as such have every right to stay in my country & freely practice my religion of choice. 2) The immigrants you talk of are thde dr & nurses running your local NHS practice. 3)More working class whites claim social benefit than any other gruop and 4)Your English is pretty crap! You dickhead-talkin shit on something you haqvent got a clue about.,,

  • @HanafiTheMC100 YOU LIVE IN THE UK AND YOU DON'T LIVE IN AMERICA..BIG DIFFERENCE...GO BACK TO THE 3rd WORLD INSTEAD OF OVER POPULATING A DYING COUNTRY...

  • i wanna go to college :l, sorry but your not stopping me from that:)

  • what a coincidence, I was born in year 1983, you are only few months younger than me, I enjoy your videos

  • College is a Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme.

  • This whole video is so spot on to why college blows!!!!!

  • This is my gripe with people majoring in these types of "artsy" majors. Nothing against them, but why would you pay thousands upon thousands for something that you can learn in a library or with private lessons??

We have far too many people majoring in things like Philosophy, Art History, etc. when they could have simply taught themselves what they wanted to learn. This is why this country is going into the shitter and China is kicking our asses academically.

  • @robib2 So the average person in congress and the whitehouse is an artsy art history major? Obama, Bush, the Clintons, etc.?? They are liberal arts majors? The boards of directors of AIG and GM were Art History majors??

  • @robib2 So the directors of Wal-Mart and Enron are "Artsy" types??? It isn't the artists who are making our country turn into dog-crap: it's the lawyers and the political science jerks.

  • "There ain't no tuition for having no ambition, and there ain't no loans for sitting your ass at home." - Kanye West...college for BS programs is a waste of time / money. But it's pretty hard to be a doctor, lawyer, accountant, nurse, architect, without the degrees. And trade school / community college is another route.

  • This isn't about school....it's about AMERICAN schools. In Europe we actually benefit from our Bachelors. And I have two degrees in Engineering...you think I could learn as much as I have 'on my own'? No.

Oh and in the UK system we don't have to take these irrelevant courses. I did ONLY engineering courses in my two degrees (B.S and M.S).

  • LOL the lazy never prosper no matter how much money ur parents put in to education.

  • i like this rant

  • I'm with you. It costs alot and it kills your freedom. Academics are, mostly, arrogant and overburdening

  • EXTRA LIKE!!!!

  • Without credentials where what can u do?

  • college degree doesnt suck... it should be certain college degrees suck... for example, without medical school, who are you going to see when you are sick?... what sucks is ppl complain that college degree is worthless but they choose to major in philosphy, communications, arts or singing, while at the same time doesn't want to become teachers or go to grad school, i mean wtf, no one to blame but urself for those ppl

  • @wusta34 Yes. We should all go to Medical School. What a bungling clown you are.

  • @dutytocareforothers when did i say you have to go to medical school, i just gave an example u idiot lol good luck flippin burgers at McDs hahahahhahaha

  • You're right dude. College does suck.

  • Your view totally makes sense to me. I'm a college drop out and I get so tired of hearing everyone telling me to go back to school like it's some magic place that will help me get a great paying job. I'm glad I'm not alone on college sucking balls.

  • @fishbrain23 OMG I can relate. Everybody I knew worships UT Austin like it's God with huge breasts. I don't get it because the school is older than dirt, the professors are older than dust, they are rude and backstabbing as hell; the classmates are blithering racist snobs; and the city is really overrated. College is certainly not a magical place: it's more like a vast heap of dog poops.

  • you sound kind of gay...

but even if u do suck cock your good at making points

  • @warender21 your a dick.

but even if you are an asshole you're still good at making jokes.

  • @orrin4 what careers you think are best without college? im too poor for college

  • @warender21 He does sound gay. And he would not answer my question of whether or not he is a gay dude... very irritating to be ignored.

  • aint need no education cause god gave me the gift of speech, and its a blessing while, yall niggas weep.

  • I was born intelligent, education ruined me.

  • Yeah I agree with you buddy. The system doesn't stop after High School in my opinion though. The System had us when our moms and dads were told by society what a great idea college was and if you went against that in an yway, they were obligated to call you a fuck up. . All of it is just a mind fuck. It's basically psychological terrorism. They want you to give in and suck money out of you. We live in age where information easy to access . No fee required.

  • @pistolpimp36 The robber barons of today are university deans and presidents. They do use psychological terror in college and before you get there. It's a lot of fraud and bait and switch advertising involved.

  • Those that detract, influence others that can be analyzed as irrelevant data, and spoon-feed others are not the sources that I would cite or even decide to go to by my own choice.

  • I agree with all your points in this video. I am in the process of constructing my own domain. All you need to be self-sufficient is to have:

    1. A large vocab

    2. Knowledge

    3. Proficient Interaction with others.

  • I'm an online student, but trust me when I say that shit is just as bad. I fucking HATE it with a passion, and most of what you study is BULLSHIT!! And it's not gonna make you any smarter, and you're not gonna get the job you want until you can prove that you have experience. As far as being 18, don't know but I'm about a decade older and the shit sucks just as bad. I was also wondering if it sucks this bad for female students, even though they do have a higher tolerance for BULLSHIT!!

  • Lol I a gree 18 man u still learning about the world and you get push from family society and more to choose or die haha

  • College reform....It's inevitable

  • would a liberal arts college be a better alternative then a 4 year university - or are all colleges crap? I know liberal arts are at least better.

  • I don't know any other system that would be considered a success with college's dropout rate.

50% of the time it works? Yeah.....someone is not doing their job well......

  • I can agree with the data in this video. I do acknowledge that being treated like a slave is absurd and an undermining of a critical mind in itself. Schools and colleges are nothing but a domain of antagonism that I will be in deep opposition to that take advantage of others.

  • if they dont pay you to go, dont go.

  • music is worthless buddy. you won't get a good job with a music degree. you should have majored in accounting

  • @FutureCACPA I come from a family of accountants. If there is one thing they taught me, and is easily observable ... if you market yourself well, and do a great job in what you do you will do extremely well with or without a degree. If you market yourself poorly and/or do less than a steller job,you will do very poorly. The most successful 2 accountants in my family are the ones with the least education. Moral of the story: Learn to market yourself and to offer a great service. ignore college

  • @aaron0883 To be an actual chartered accountant in Canada you need a university degree. You can't just "market yourself well" you have to actually work. And you have to take some "useless" courses along the way in science, and arts, but it's part of being a successful professional.

  • @Kelly119119 In a way I agree with you, but your language is a bit problematic.

In the US people can be accountants without anything ... however, there are different certifications for some kinds of accountants.

The only reason degrees are part of becoming a successful professional is because government requires it. If government required degrees to play video games, it wouldn't validate the degree in and of itself ... it would merely be authoritarian government hoop jumping.

  • @aaron0883 You are actually incorrect. In Canada we call it CA (chartered accountant), CGA (certified general accountant) or CMA (certified management accountant). In the US it's called CPA (certified public accountant) which all require university degrees. You can be a bookkeeper, or clerk without education, but usually those jobs hire at least 2 year college graduates. And the organizations are not "government" they are private organizations, that like to have smart accomplished members

  • @Kelly119119 I have 8 accountants in my family, including my mother. The most successful is my aunt who is a CFO. She has no college experience. She can market herself. My mom (CPA), is friendly and 'educated', but can't market herself. She does okay ... but she would do fine in another industry without a degree.

Small businesses aren't allowed to do most tests that would be effective in weeding out employees ... so they use college degrees for the resulting correlative results

  • @aaron0883 However, ask people that hire anywhere. Most will tell you that if you have done the job before ... that is much more valuable than any degree. I am sure stats would poiunt that out

  • @aaron0883 yea but you still need to market yourself using some kind of degree..skill is probably the best term..

  • @aaron0883 amen

  • @FutureCACPA accounting haha thats even more useless. college is a scam, the more who goes, the more is jobless muahahhaha

  • @FutureCACPA

If he had the aptitude for accounting he wouldn't have spent $100K learning how to play the skin flute.

  • I guess it all depends on what you wanna do right? I'm seriously thinking of pursuing college because i'm fed up with my job and having no money. I've always wanted to go and the parties at universities can't be bad right?.....Idk i just want a great job with freedom of creative expression

  • According to the constitution, college isn't even legal!

  • The debt students are shoved into for what they may //expect// in return, is not even close to worth it.

A handful of nepotism benefactors by the cheating that his allows, will scoop up ALL the benefits of not having to study or personally do assignments, and exams are handed out the night before to cull out those not in on the Gravy Train of personal favors.

Knowledge is USELESS! Being in on the lodge boy's inner circle guarantees the economic death of all competition.

  • Be prepared for my future actions, fellow heroes of freedom.

I will get all names of all college principles and teachers and they will be prosecuted.

  • The college experience is different for everyone... I'm working towards my Ph.D in Psychology. I want to work with people that have Skizophrenia, and the only way I can do that is if I go to college haha. For years though I wanted to major in music. But the only thing you can do is teach, which really isn't that hard. So it's not really surprising that you didn't learn anything. If you would have majored in something different you probably would have had a better experience.

  • @SlappyMcLovenuts You probably won't even get a job after you graduate: they want people who have experience in clinical settings.

  • From Nikhil in INDIA.

I do not agree with you. Having a bachelors in a subject like music will not give you a good job, you should not be surprised. If you want a good job, then you should choose a technical subject. Science and math is not hard, if you understand the basics. I used to hate college too. Its because I found the subject difficult. I later realized that I had not understood the basics.

  • I'm to hopefully graduate with at B.A. in Greek and Roman Studies. I'm about only qualified to work at COSTCO or McDonald's at this point. I wasn't great at math or science, so I had to take my degree from the Humanities (and I suck at writing papers too).

None of what I am learning will help me run a night club and be a DJ- things I ACTUALLY want in life.

  • you are RIGHT buddy this IS PURE TRASH. the same people got rid of the aRMY DRAFT (people SAID you needed that in the old days). all these people do is MAKE human trash, diseases and SKEL ALSO CHEAP LABOR and LAZY people.

  • I have alot more respect to all the drop outs of the world. Y is this crap so hard the failure rate of my school is like 60%. But ima keep with it. This crap sucks more then high school and its the same just with harder work u aint got no friends in this crap. Freedom yea ight u get up go to class get C's n yea u gota go to class now. • @tonydeadlock everyone but u cause the highest grade is used 3 times but u got all C's everyone got D's on the quizzes yes u still have quizzes but they get 2 F's but pull a b now they have a C n u got yup yea the person that had 3 C's and one D gets a D. The guy that got 2 F's and a B then a D gets a C does that add up

  • @tonydeadlock Ivy League schools hand out //at least// 50% A-grades, on every grade sheet. About 60% of Ivy League diplomas are given out with some sort of honors. This is a fucking sick joke, so remember that the next time you have your balls peeled off just to try and survive to end up getting a God damn C.

  • @centurion180ad C's get degrees

  • @centurion180ad I agree college is pathetic.

  • @dutytocareforothers It's not that students are incapable of learning anything important, because in theory they are able. The problem is that university now no longer teaches anything that matters, to the corporation mafia that has taken over our country and most of the planet.

We must destroy corporation as an institution, and then I think university will improve and may again start being worth the time & effort.

  • college sucks ass for real yo!!!!
