  • is there a lyrics of this? Cause this is diffrent than the official German version?

  • Beautiful.. I have no idea what they're saying but it's still magnificent.

  • I have no idea what they're saying, but that's hot.

  • cool

  • Sry aber als die sich auf dem Bett rumwälzten hatte ich nen Lachflash....xD

  • When they started to *ahem* roll around the bed, I kept on thinking: "should I be watching this?" lol

  • Oh goodness, this musical makes me what to learn German SOOO bad. SOO bad. *dies*

  • oh, sogar auf deutsch :D:D

  • Uhm... this scene would be fun to play xD Perks of the job.

    DREW <3

  • All I could think during this was, ZOMG, THEY'RE GONNA FALL OFF THAT BED!

  • que???? lol what musical IS this? xD I was page flipping and came across this. i was just listening to the music when I flipped back to the page and went HOLY CRAP WHATS GOING ON!? xDDDD

  • @SRibb0ns This is Dracula the musical. This is a performance in St. Gallen Switzerland with Drew Sarich playing the title character.

  • Holy cow! That was insanely hot. I love this musical so much. I wish I knew more German...

  • @MunchletteBelle The origin version is in English, so why do you need to know German? Listen to the English version and you know the lyrics ;D

  • from 1:50 is my favourite part...

Wildhorn makes such a beautiful music...

  • @anuszka1103

Hey, my too! ;) And in this version there is also my favourite arrangement.

  • i wish i know the full lyric's in english

  • i know them and it is possible to get them on here just search for this song. It is also possible to get a copy of the music from the same source

  • Hat einer die Lyrics von genau dieser Version?

  • GERMAN Isn't awesome!!

  • I meant to say "German Isn't it awesome!"

  • It is the beginning of the song:

    DRACULA:

Ever since I saw you, shivers down my spine, you're the one.

Mina, you're the chosen one, I'm here to make you mine.

You're the one, out of all the those I've known,

All my centuries alone, you are flesh of my flesh for all time.

I've commanded armies, I've defeated kings,

But today, seeing you this way, armies and kings seem trivial things,

    Empty and trivial things.

  • ok that was HOT, if only Drew was in the English version (was he ever?) we could have had this sex appeal and chemistry, HOT

  • no unfourtunatley Drew never played Dracula on Broadway, but did play Armand and understudied Lestat (went on a few times I believe) in Lestat on Broadway

  • You're not wrong. :) He was brilliant as Lestat but he's MY Armand, and I always liked Armand better.

  • Me to =)

  • @independantwoman unfortunately not but that would be hot! but i mean come on he is hot singing english or not XD

  • Can anyone translate what he's saying at the beginning of the scene please?

  • Nichts ist wie gestern, das verdank ich dir.

Nothing is like it was yesterday, I owe that to you.

Du allein- ausgewählt für mich- fortan gehörst du mir.

You alone - chosen for me - from now on you belong to me.

Du allein, jene Liebe, die mal war bring ich dir als Opfer dar.

You alone, the love that once was, I sacrifice it to you.

Deine Seele, dein Körper sind mein. Ich befahl Armeen....

Your soul, your body are mine.

    I led armies...

I hope it is about right! I love that Musical

Wie WIE hab ich das nur nicht mitbekommen können?

    Quincey Morris: Frank Winkels -

    Jack Seward: Alen Hodzovic

    Vampirin: Marion Furtner -

  • I don't know why. but drew would be a wonderful Hyde!

  • I was thinking the same thing!

  • Lyrics, please?? Anyone?

  • Drew Sarich was Armand in the Lestat musical! haha

  • is the book creep because I really want to read it but my mom is like: "It'll scare you" and I'm like "Mom I read the anne rice books." lol.

  • Dracula's a bit dated to be frightening...but some people do still find it scary, I guess.

  • thanks i really appreciate your answer. i just started the book today and i am more than half way done with it and its amazing. My mom was scared of me reading it and now she is making me read it to her. Lol

  • Hehe i'm reading the book and I'm at this part. ^.^

Anyone have the St. Gallen lyrics?

  • Is this german?? Lol I couldn't tell for a while. That soft high singing of his at the beginning is incredible.

  • i wouldn't mind being Mina at this moment....at all

  • wow,really impressive!Drew's so talented!!!!

  • Is there an English stage version of this?

  • its not common. it didn't get good reviews from critics when it came out in the US. i read somewhere that now the rights to the score is owned by an international company now, so its kinda up to them. they need to bring it back in english though! the music is absolutely gorgeous and so much better than the other dracula musical! you can only really get the german version, which is gorgeous as well, and could be helpful if you're learning german? ^_^;;;

  • Well, in that time, I managed to find the English soundtrack, and I listen to it constantly :D

  • really?!? where did you find it? :D

  • I download my audio off YouTube. If you want it, pm me your e-mail and I'll send you it

  • :Blinks: ...Um, wow...I don't know what to say...except...When is this show coming to the states? Lol, at 4:40, that moment was practically taken from the Francis Ford Coppola Dracula movie w/ Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. (Maybe it was like that in the book as well? I dont remember much from it. *Sweatdrop*)

  • 4:40 was in the book. That's why Mina gets all cursed and the holy wafer burns a scar into her head.

  • wow.. that WAS hot.. Their singing gives me goosebumps. I don't even have to understand the language to be entranced by it.

  • who is this by? were can i get my hands on the music?

  • That was hot. Except for 4:40. That was wtf.

  • god i hate the costumes!

  • Irgendwie ist der text anders als auf der Cd...

ich galub auf der Cd ist es statt Ès gibt immer in Morge`n´ `Der Stern wird niemals sinken´

  • Never thought Drew could do sexy :)

    Love the music as well.

  • Herrlich!

  • God this is so much better than the English translation allows...the English version of these lyrics are AWFUL, but this just lets the beauty of the music itself wash over you.

  • totally agree - I cannot stand the English version - I always love Wildhorn's music and have never really been crazy for the lyrics

the music is just amazing and it gets trampled by the poor lyrics -

the German version allows you to not understand the lyrics at all! I love it

  • @allycrombie33 The English is actually the original.

  • even though this is german, you can hear the passion and power coming through drew's lips.

  • sieht aus wie Wildhorn, klingt wie Wildhorn IST wildhorn ;-)

  • What do they make at 4:34 ?

(I'm sorry for this English, I'm German...)

  • Dracula schneidet sich ins Fleisch und sie trinkt sein Blut (wie im Roman).

  • WTF?!?!!! thats really messed up...

  • I know her, she's great;D

  • Even though it's in German, and I can't understand it, I can feel the emotions in the lyrics and their actions. It's beautiful and it literally left me breathless.

  • Totally agreed, I love these songs, lyrics and most of all this amazing cast! But I prefer the Graz-version! I can´t understand why they put the story in the 50´...still an amazing production

  • It's german ^^ I'm german.

  • *Stud muffin hahaha

  • wow this dracula is a stuff muffin with beautiful pipes!

  • that's our drew!! :)

  • Oooo a stripping Drew! This is exciting!!!

  • Thank you so much for the video. I love this Musical, I'm sad that I've never seen it. I hope that it will shown here in Germany too.

  • I wish she was wearing something more beautiful.

  • hi, I would like to know if one of the people that see this video or more about Dracula could give me the lyrics of this songs: Plese don't make me love you Life after Life The longer I life And the one of the final scene.

I woul apresiate it a lot, and it would be right in english, spanish or german.

    Thanks. =)

  • I could send you the lyrics to all those in English, and the first three in German - though it's the Graz production lyrics :)

  • Your opinion is well founded, and polite. That is the difference. :/ And really, I don't mind the Dracula/Mina thing. I'm just thinking of the kids in my house--how do I watch any of these videos with them around?

Aww, the heck with it! I'll tell them to read the book.

  • the thing is that this musical is more based in Copollas movie Dracula rather than the book. Therefore the these kind of sequences ;)

  • ...I've never seen teh Copolloas movie. Is it worth checking into?

  • YES! Copollas movie is AMAZING! Gary Oldman is AMAZING as Dracula and Winona Ryder is VERY good as Mina.

  • it's not bad, but the book's the best.

  • Fezthecat, I first read Dracula when I was in first grade. :/ If this musical had come out and I had seen it...

Well, really. Seduction of mina was handled rather differently than this--or did your mind come up with another path?

  • You're quite right, this scene doesn't correspond with the book's rendition of events. But then this musical approaches the Mina/Dracula angle from an entirely different perspective than the book.

Most audiences, however, aren't interested in an accurate rendition of the book. The book: Mina recounts what she claims happened to her ... and it's pretty boring. People want to see the action in a show, and they also enjoy a sexual angle. And a show needs to sell ...

    Just my opinion. :)

  • Can somebody write down the German lyrics? Thanks!

  • I'll try but it's pretty hard because the sound isn't too clear...

  • thanks for trying:)

  • If you want I can give you what I have so far, but it's not at all complete

  • what's the name of this song in german?

  • Bitte lass mich dich nicht lieben

  • WOW! I wish I was that woman! ;) I love this musical! Hopefully the CD will be released soon... Drew Sarich is ok but James Barbour as Dracula is better - a thousand times!

  • Yay James! :D

  • This is a beautiful song, but are the sex shots really necessary? :/

  • what are you from the 50's. Do things like this offend you? This part is the seduction of mina, so the sexy shots are pretty much needed for this particular scene.

  • Very intense! Great acting and great voices (I love the singing in German, it's a beautiful language). They are very talented.

  • Oh damn! That WAS intense! Holy crap... I didn't understand a word, but it sound good to me! Is this show only in German? If there's one in english, I'd love to watch it!

  • Oh wow. That was intense. I had no idea dracula was a musical.

  • i love wildhorn's dracula (the music). i love drew sarich. i love the sound of the german language. this is a win-win for me.

still looking for the cast recording in english, though. it's never coming out. =[

  • hat irgendwer den deutschen text?

  • wow,really impressive!Drew's so talented!!!!Thanks for uploading this!

  • Dracula: Ever since I saw you shivers down my spine you're the one Mina, you're the chosen one I'm here to make you mine

You're the one out all those I have known

All the centuries alone You are flesh of my flesh for all time.

I've commanded armies. I've defeated kings But today seeing you this way armies and kings seem trivial things empty and trivial things

  • So,that's probably sort-of kind-of maybe close to what they are saying...

  • I've been looking around for info on this song. Apparently there have not been that many productions of Wildhorn's Dracula and most of them have not included this song (especially not in the duet format). So it is hard to find lyrics in either English or German.

  • What I did find were lyrics for this song (in English) from an album that was recorded by Wildhorn's wife. English and German don't translate easily, so I think the most that we can assume is that these singers are saying something close to the english lyrics(at least in meaning).

  • This is part of what I did find...

Please don't make me love you

Please don't make me need you

I've no room in my life

    For something like this

    Please don't take my mornings

    Please don't steal my summers

    I know they will vanish

    The moment we kiss

  • I grow weak when we talk

    I'm confused when we touch

    I should just walk away

    But that's asking too much

Please don't make me do this

Please don't make me want this

    All my dreams were taken

    Until I met you

  • nope, that's from the actual song "please don't make me love you". The title of this video is wrong. It's really "Die Verführung" or "the seduction". That'll make it alot easier to find the lyrics.

  • Hast du zufällig auch den rest der show? Ich liebe dieses Stück ^^

Ich muss es haben.. Es ist so.. Muaah ^^ einfach genial

    4 Sterne von mir!

  • Ann is really tall..she's almost even with Drew, and he's over 6 ft. O.o

  • ehhm.. tut mir ja leid aber das iseht irgendwie tollpatschig aus??? Ih weiß nicht wie ich das sagen soll aber es sieht irgendwie total lustig aus... trotzallem toll gesungen¨!

  • THIS LANGUAGE IS REALLY SEXY

  • i gotta tell ya, after some serious gravs this shit is intense

  • does anyone have the lyrics to this, in this language!? I would love anyone who wishes to give them

  • Oh god... i love this song!!! Can I buy the CD or DVD somewhere?

  • It makes me wanna have a vampire love!!

  • I think he's telling her that he wants to make sweet, sweet vampire love to her!!

  • I've got the full dvd too.

  • what do you want for a copy?

  • Ooh me too!!

  • I think it would be better if Mina had dark hair...

  • oh and i want to be that girl so badly lmaoo

  • drew is amazing... even when i cant understand a SINGLE word hes saying.... i love this man!

  • What is Drew saying? I REALLY wanna know.

  • does anyone know if you can the full musical on dvd cheers

  • i have the full dvd

  • can I have it too?????

  • It´s easy to find the libbreto in english. Just google wildhorn dracula lyrics. I´ve tried to post the link, but youtube didn´t allow me.

  • sooo amazing. drew sarich is just incredible. i just wish i spoke german...

  • drew u are great!

  • wow....wish I could understand german... ( even though I know every single word of this song...) I want to be Mina!!! lol!!

  • Didn't this open in English on Broadway last season or something? Or was that another staging of Dracula?

  • Yes it was staged on Broadway, but was such a flop that the production just run for a few months.

This german version is a little better, but it has much much space to evolute.

  • This is AMAZING! I can't wait for the cast album, or to see an actual production!

  • Adore this musical... Except the ending, totally un-climatic

  • wait.... what are they saying?

  • drew sarich rocks! Oh what i would do to hear this in english!!!

  • Actually there is an english concept recording;)

But I must say...it is much better in German...I mean...the ending of this songs in English resembles a lot to Phantom of the Opera

  • i've searched for it, but i can't find it anywhere.

  • Ha! I agree with 'Suzyqs'...

  • Oh dear lord...who wouldn't want to be in that bed with Drew *heart flutter*

  • Loved it!!! Could anyone please, plase translate the lyrics?

  • The only thing I don't get about this musical is the costumes and set. Its an eclectic mix. Is Mina a 1950s housewife?

  • The music from this is awesome. Drew Sarich's voice is beautiful and it has such character. I so appreciate bootlegs or else I never would have discovered him. I hope I can see him perform live one day soon.

  • I want the soundtrack to this! Or does anyone know where I can find the whole musical?

  • And this, ladies (and gentlemen) is why everyone wants to be an actor. :)

  • lol I agree.

  • I believe the girl is Ann Christin Elverum.

  • *pants* omg!

  • OMG!!! Another one!!! yay!

  • thats drew but who is the girl, not ann right?

  • This is from dracula yah?

  • yep! this is the full version of Please don't make me love you..

  • Actually, it´s not the full version of "Please don´t make me love you". Please don´t make me love you is sung by Mina alone earlier than this song here. She repeats just 2 lines of it.

  • holy fucking crap. excuse me... please post more!

  • uhm... i thought it was kinda ok... but i don't understand what they're singing about :'(

  • I think they're singing about what they're doing. Now if you don't know what they're doing, you haven't reached puberty yet.

  • HOT!!!!

  • Oh, well :) Better you than me :)
