The movie was released before Top Gear got big in the US, otherwise I'm sure they would have used Jeremy for the voice. Though since Top Gear has gotten so huge here in the US, I'm confident that Pixar will use one of the TG boys for Cars 2!

I ended up finding out that some of the roles were voiced by different people in different countries. In the UK, it was voiced by Clarkson and in the US it voiced by Piven.
